{Gracie's P.O.V}

As I sat down, Serenity came next to me and sat down. "What pose did you and Shawn do?" she asked. "We hugged while he was kissing my cheek," I say, trying not to blush. "He also kissed me on the lips!" I exclaim, obviously happy. "AWWW!!" Serenity practically screams. Hazel and Olivia come join Serenity and I in the front row of seats in the cafeteria. We show each other the photos we took. "Gracie, you and Shawn would be such a cute couple!" Hazel squeals. "Really?" I ask. "Of course!" my friends say. "Everyone settle down!" Mr. Brown says into the mic. We all settle down and Shawn comes out from behind the stage. All around me, I hear girls scream. I can't help my scream and smile. Me and my friends are recording the whole thing. "Hi guys!" Shawn says. Screaming. He catches my eye, and gives me a smile. I smile back.

"Let's start this thing!" Shawn says, obviously excited for the Q&A. "Who has a question?" Shawn asks. A lot of hands go up, including mine. "You," Shawn points at a random girl. "What is the hardest song for you to sing?" the girl I didn't recognize asked. "Ummm.. probably Hold on," Shawn replies. He looks at me, "Gracie," Shawn asks as he smiles. "What do you look for in a girl?" I ask. "Um... probably a brunette who can sing really good, wears glasses, and has a good personality," Shawn replies as he smiles. 'Could he have been describing me?' I ask myself. "Serenity," Shawn says as he lets Serenity ask her question. "When are you and Gracie going to date? I mean, you guys would be a cute couple." Serenity asks. I couldn't help but look at my feet and blush.

{Shawn's P.O.V}

I walk off the stage and I'm greeted by screaming girls. I see Gracie in the front row, along with Olivia, Serenity, and Hazel. "Hi guys!" I say. Screams. "Let's start this thing!" I say. "Who has a question?" I ask. A lot of hands go up, including Gracie's . "You," I point at a random girl who has her hand up. "What is the hardest song for you to sing?" the girl asked. "Ummm.. probably Hold on," I reply . I look at Gracie, "Gracie," I ask as I smile. "What do you look for in a girl?" She asks. I pause for a moment to think before answering. "Um... probably a brunette who can sing really good, wears glasses, and has a good personality," I reply as I smile.

"Serenity," I say as I let Serenity ask her question."When are you and Gracie going to date? I mean, you guys would be a cute couple." Serenity asks. "Well Serenity, I was wondering the same thing," I say. "Gracie?" I ask. "Yes?" She asks. "Would you like to go to dinner with me tonight? And maybe afterwards go to a movie?" I ask. "I'd love to!" She squeals. "Awesome!" I'll come pick you up at 6:00." I say, as I wink at her. "Ok!" She says. I look around and everyone has a smile on their faces. "AWW!" I hear everyone say. "Where are we going to eat?" I ask. "Um.. what do you want? Steak? Pasta? Pizza?" Gracie asks. "Steak," I reply . "Alright, well, there is a good steak place in Columbia, which is only 30 minutes away," Gracie says. "Perfect!" I say. I ask some more questions.

{Gracie's P.O.V}

"Serenity," Shawn says as he lets Serenity ask her question."When are you and Gracie going to date? I mean, you guys would be a cute couple." Serenity asks. "Well Serenity, I was wondering the same thing," Shawn says. "Gracie?" He asks. "Yes?" I ask. "Would you like to go to dinner with me tonight? And maybe afterwards going to a movie?" Shawn asks. I pause for a moment to process what Shawn had said. "I'd love to!" I squeal. "Awesome! I'll come pick you up at 6:00." He says as he winks at me. "Ok!" I say. Shawn and I look around and everyone has a smile on their faces. "AWW!" I hear everyone say. "Where are we going to eat?" Shawn asks. "Um.. what do you want? Steak? Pasta? Pizza?" I ask. "Steak," Shawn replies. "Alright, well, there is a good steak place in Columbia, which is only 30 minutes away," I say. "Perfect!" Shawn says.

Shawn asks some more questions, and everyone gets let out. Serenity, Olivia, Hazel, and I stay back since we got to hang out with Shawn. "Hey Gracie?" Shawn asks. "Yes?" I ask. "What movie are we going to watch?" He asks. "Well Shawn, let's see what movies the movie theater is showing." I say. I get on my phone and look at movies in Columbia, MO. I see that Crimes of Grindelwald is playing. "How about Crimes of Grindelwald?" I ask. "Sure!" Shawn replies. "Do you want me to make dinner reservations at the place we are gonna eat?" Shawn asks. "Yeah, it would be a good idea to, the place tends to get packed." I say. "Ok, what is it called?" Shawn asks. "Texas Roadhouse," I tell him. Shawn gets on his phone and makes dinner reservations for two. "Done!" Shawn says.

My friends and I talk with Shawn, but before we know it, it's time to go back home. "By Shawn!" my friends say as they each give him a hug. "Bye guys!" Shawn replies. "Go ahead, I'll catch up with you guys in a few. I'm just going to stay behind and talk to Shawn for a bit," I say to my friends. "I can't wait till tonight!" Shawn says. "Me neither!" I say. "I know we'll have fun," Shawn says. "Heck yea we will!" I say. "Welp, I have to go and get home!, I'll see you tonight!" I say. "See you too, what do I need to wear?" Shawn asks. "If you have a pair of boots and jeans, then wear those, since we are going to a country type restaurant. I'll be wearing my jeans and boots," I say. "Ok" Shawn says. We hug, he kisses me on the cheek, and I run off to find my friends.

I catch up with my friends and we get our stuff together and I go to cheer practice. After cheer practice, I go to my car. I drive home and get all of my stuff out of my car and go inside. "Mom!" I yell with a hint of excitement in my voice, and a big smile on my face. "What Gracie?" She asks. "So you know how Shawn Mendes came to the school today?" "Yeah," she says. "Well, he may or may not have asked me out to dinner tonight, and he may or may not be coming to pick me up at 6 for dinner and a movie," I say. "Really?" she asks. "YES!" I say. I show her the video. "Wow Gracie, you must be really happy," my mom says. "I am!" I say.
