Intro

My arms and legs were strapped by leather cuffs to the bed as I stared up at the ceiling. I heard the nurses heels clicking from down the hall heading towards my room. The sound was driving me crazy. Instinctively, tried to bring hands to my ears but the straps held them down.

Finally, the clicking stopped when the nurse stopped in front of my door. She entered with 2 men behind her but I wasn't intimidated by the men who had restrained me in the past I was intimidated by the tray she held in her hands. She only brought a syringe when I lost my temper. I've been restrained to the bed all day. What could I have done?

"Why are you going to sedate me?"

She ignored me and went to the counter in the corner of the room to place the tray on it. Anger started boiling inside me but I kept it in knowing it would only bring the buff men at the door into the picture. She turned around with her typical bitchy smile as she held a cloth against her thigh. Before I could question it more she began explaining.

"You are getting a roommate and I would like him to come to you peacefully sleeping."

"Why does that matter? I won't go off at him."

She smiled and began to come to my bed "I don't care about that. His mom is dropping him off in the room and I'm pretty she doesn't want to leave your son somewhere where he would be bound to a bed by leather straps. If his mother decides she doesn't want him to come here then I don't get any money"

Money. Of course, I've been with this nurse for almost 5 years now. I should have known. She smirked as she brought a bottle and cloth from behind her back and begun pouring the liquid onto the rag.

"What is that? Why not a syringe?" I was calm on the outside but on the inside I was terrified

"The syringe doesn't make you look peaceful" was all she said before she harshly covered my moth and nose with the cloth.

I started shaking under my restraints trying to get away from the foul smell. I tried to turn my head but she would just follow. As time went by my struggles faded. I felt the belts around my limbs come off before the rag but it was too late my body was already going limp. As my eyes were closing I saw the nurse smiling.

"See you look much more a peace"
