ch 6

Aaliyah's pov

It's been a week since we have meet Jason. I have to say we have been hanging out a lot. I can see Jaxson loves him and so do I. It's friday and I asked Jaxson to take me to his grandma to talk more about mythical beings as well as what I am. Jaxson he would take me but it would be a long drive. I didn't really understand until the drive started. Jaxson tells me that because his grandma works in sourcery the werewolf world think she is a lunatic. They didn't like the idea of a werewolf dealing in the witch's world so they told her to stay away from them. But what they don't know is that his grandma has been helping them out. She helps keep there pack safe from the human eye.

We reach a mountain range, Jaxson says we have to hike the rest of the way in order to get his grandma. On the way Jaxson and I talk about small stuff and our past. But Jaxson won't really tell me about his past I can see him holding something back. I want to know, I want him to trust me.

We reached a house at the top of a mountain. It wasn't too big but you got this cozy viby from it. As I walked to the house I felt this connection to it. Like something was drawing me to it. I saw an old women on the porch Jaxson ran to her and gave her a hug. I saw a big smile on his face. I was really happy. I walked slowly to the house and meet up with the women,and Jaxson.

"Hi Ms. Siloano."

" Oh call me Ann, you don't have to be so formal princess."

"Please don't call me princess it doesn't suit me. Just Aaliyah is fine."

She didn't say anything only came closer and looked into my eyes.

"Let's get started on telling you everything. I have already made some hot chocolate."

"Wow did Jaxson already tell you."

I looked at Jaxson he shook his head no and had this weird expression on his face.

"No honey the spirits have been whispering about you since your powers have been released."

"Wait I thought that would only happen on my birthday."

"Well your true power will be unleashed then. Also your birthday is in 3 days, and because you are a princess your powers or aura is greater then other beings. Your powers have begun to grow and they are showing."

"Yeah her people in the pack noticed and her smell is different."

"Good job Jaxson. There is something that concerns you both. One Jaxson does she know about the changing."

"No grandma I was hoping you could tell her."

"Jaxson this has to do with your past, I know it is hard but telling someone will help you move on."

"I know granny it is just need some more time."

"Okay. Aaliyah honey do you know what the changing is."

I gave her a look. Of course I didn't know. She just chuckled

"Sorry bad question. You may have witch, demon, and angel blood in you but to a werewolf you are seen as human kind of. You have the ability to change and grow but you don't have other abilities like vampire or werewolf. Everyone has a mate, unless you are human. Every kingdom has an old little tradition I will call it. This tradition can change one being into another. Like Loren, she was once human and know is a werewolf with a mate."

I looked at her I didn't know Loren was once human. I looked at jaxson there was this sadness in his eyes. I didn't know what to do I just went up and hugged him. He put his head in the crook of my neck and started to whisper to himself. I just gave Ann a look baskly telling her to keep going as a lay on Jaxson's lap.
