Chapter 2: The Closet Door*PHOTO ATTATCHED: Vanessa Moe --> Emery Watson*
(you can imagine Emery as looking however you'd like, but I felt Vanessa Moe fit Emery quite well for character inspiration!)

"That's lovely," I grimaced as a girl legit missed my feet by a centimeter with her barf.
Carly only tightened her hold on my hand and pushed her way through the crowd that was outside on Hunter Kramer's front driveway. I felt like I was packed into a tin full of sardines. That's how packed the party is and we haven't even made it inside of the mansion.
I already knew that this night was not going to be as great as Carly bragged it would be. I knew the moment she made my body squeeze into the smallest and shortest faux leather mini skirt, the rest of this night would not go so great.
I'm not the kind of girl that many would describe as girlie. I mean, yeah I wear dresses occasionally, but I'd pick a pair of shorts and my old chucks over a dress any day.
Plus, I'm not exactly talented in walking in heels, so that's another reason why I turned down Carly's idea for what to wear on my feet.
As we pushed our way through the crowd, I clutched my white side purse to my chest, not exactly trusting people when we walked past them to not grab anything out of it.
I kept my head down as we made our way to the front door.
We both stepped inside and it suddenly felt like we had walked right into an oven that had a stereo built into it. There were so many people in the house, that because of all the body heat, it made the house feel like it was going to catch on fire.
Not only that, but my ears have probably already detached themselves from my body because of how crazy loud the music is. It's so loud, that as we made our way through the many more bodies that were in our way, I could literally feel the sound vibrations through the wooden floor underneath my feet.
I bumped into Carly when she unexpectedly turned around. Her long red hair slapped me in the face and I leaned back slightly.
Carly had insisted that we 'twinned' at this party. So she ended up wearing an even shorter faux leather skirt than mine. She decided to dress it up more with some nice heels with straps.
Her brown eyes pierced into mine signaling she wanted to say something and I raised my eyebrows to show her I was listening.
"Let's head to the kitchen and grab some drinks. We can make the kitchen our meeting spot if we end up getting separated!" she yelled over the music. I just nodded and followed after her towards the kitchen.
I didn't have any plans on drinking tonight. I know for sure that Carly did, so I definitely had to make sure she stayed on her feet, especially for when we walk home. I had absolutely no plans in having to carry or drag her home if she ends up getting too drunk.
Over the crowd of people, I could see the entrance way to the kitchen. There were multicolored lights flashing around us and people were dancing to the loud beats of the music.
Well, I wouldn't call grinding dancing, but that's just me.
I breathed a sigh of relief when we finally stepped into the kitchen. There were less people, so therefore, more oxygen to breathe in. I stared in awe at how nicely designed it was. There was a huge island in the center and a giant stainless steel fridge off to the side. Their sink had faux gold metal, looking shiny and new.
On the island in the center was probably over fifty different alcoholic drinks. Red cups were stacked all around the granite countertops that made up the rest of the kitchen.
