The baby girl was brought squalling into the world, a halo of white gold fuzz surrounding her head. Her face was red and her eyes were clenched shut. Her mother calmed her down. Suddenly she opened her eyes to gaze up at her parents. Big, clear, and gray as steel. As soon as the baby's parents saw her gaze they drew in a breath. They knew she was not like them or her older brother by a few minutes either. She was different. And her parents dreaded what would happen to her in the future...
Thus begins the story of Adelaide Bella Malfoy.
