We learned about Anglo-Saxton poetry in my English class and I decided to give it a try. If you do your research, these are not supposed to rhyme. But I made it rhyme anyway. You're welcome :)... so I guess it's not exactly anglo saxton style... enjoy anyway:)
Breaking through the bricks
comes the panic and pain.
Bound for a Broken sanity
as you race through the raging rain.
you kill kindness climbing its luck.
ask a bow from the king and queen
save the savior of that sin.
Break the rocks cracked on the concrete
Fire rises in it's fury
sending stars from the savage flame.
shooting a speckle of faith to they who fall.
nothing you see is the same.
burn the bruises away
crack the crumbling muck that covers you.
fight pain with passing pain
a greater good gets the win again.
misery hisses in its sorrow
sending threats to have you suffer again.
you gain greatness and say, "NO!"
but the cycle slides in place no matter what gets said.
learn the lesson of life and love
or be confused at the misunderstood.
just see who wins this sorrowful slicing
given the grieving battle between bad and good.
