colby twisted and turned in bed, feeling super sleepy and exhausted, only wanting to fall asleep in some warmth. but no, it had to be the only night where the house's heater didnt work, and it also had to be raining. fucking wonderful.
he turned to check the time on his small clock. it read 1:44 am. maybe someone was awake at this time? surely he wasnt the only one awake at this time of night.
his eyes half lidded, he clicked into instagram. he scrolled through pictures mindlessly till someone had uploaded a photo. it was brennenn, on his spam yet again. it was a picture of kobe laying next to him, with the caption, "sleepless night, in need of some sorta convo rn"
colby hummed, turning down his brightness on his phone so he would get so blinded by the light. he tapped the comment button and typed, "im down, hmu dude" after doing so he posted his comment, already gaining likes on his comment and replies saying, "hey colby!" or "colby i love you!!" and even "go to bed!!"
he chuckled at the little comments and returned to his homepage. he refreshed his feed, a notification popping into his dms. copby supposed it was brennen. he clicked into his dms, and was right, it was the one and only brennen taylor who had dm'd him. his text showed, "whatcha doin up at this hour brother?"
