My friends and I are the adventurous sort. Foreign countries hold little interest now that we have visited almost each corner of the world (if the world's got corners). Instead we set our next goal to visit each and every mountain range in existence. May it be in the middle of nowhere or the center of the continent. And so we set out to go for a trip near the Himalayas. And this is an account of our trip there (you must me really lucky if you're reading this).
We visited The Himalayas skimming the outskirts of China, Nepal and India. Our trip went uneventfully mooching till we encountered a kerfuffle in a hamlet most wouldn't know existed. A scamp was trying to indoctrinate a boor about the history of some superstitious folktales. He was speaking a panegyrie in what seemed like their indigenous gobbledygook. We moved on and on the way we saw many grebes playing and diving into the river below. Later, we went on a special snow safari in an open jeep. Yonder we saw many indolent pachyderms. When we neared the end of our journey, we were spying on some creatures when suddenly a whole peafowl silently made their way from behind us. We held our breaths and froze in awe, scared we might scare them away. By this time, we were thoroughly starved and exhausted and night was falling fast. So we started to return to our inn. But on the way, we saw a fast food shop with heavy discounts and the sudden urge to eat was ineluctable. The open top pulled us even harder as we knew it was one of the rare syzygy. So we made our way there. On finally reaching our inn, we were full-stomached and restless so we fell into bed. We only remembered our book out was due the following morning in the morning!
