Shouldn't I be quaking in fear or something? I mean it is highschool. Yet, I felt no intimidation whatsoever coming from Beacon Hills High. My sister Lydia wanted to drive me on my first day, but I decided to drive my Harley instead. I hopped off of the seat and headed to Lydia's car, knowing that she had some big entrance planned.
"What the hell are you wearing?" Was the first thing to exit her mouth. I glanced down at my outfit, not sensing anything wrong with it. A band tee, leggings and shorts, and my Docs. I sent an annoyed look Lyd's way, hoping she'd catch my drift and stop complaining.
"Clothes. And shoes. And a thong." I received a reprimanding stare after the last comment. A grin made its way to my face as I turned away from her and started to walk into the school. She quickly caught up to me and let out a humph.
She responded very loudly with a rushed, "You are not wearing a thong. You're barely 15." A pair of boys apparently heard us because they snapped their heads in our direction. One of them had long, shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. He looked nice enough. The other boy had a buzz cut and brown hazel eyes like Aunt Jemima's pancake syrup. Swoon. Food colored eyes, instant interest.
Lydia turned towards them looking scandalized. I just kept walking, sending each of them a wink as I passed. "It's as real as your tan Lydia, don't worry."
High school is going to be fun.
