The Beginning of the End

(Levy's POV)

"Gajeel!" I yell holding him in my arms. I hold him closer as tears stream down my cheeks. "Gajeel I NEED you!" I scream looking at his limp body. "I love you." I whisper.

(1 week earlier)

"Hey shrimp!" I hear a gruff voice from behind me. I turn a round on my barstool.

"Yes Gajeel?" I said nervously.

"Lily said you had some kiwis..." He said glancing at my bag. Right I promised Lily some after he helped me move some books. I turned to my bag and grab 3 kiwis and handed them to Gajeel.

"Here you go." I said with a smile. Gajeel just grunted and returned to Lily at one of the tables. I quickly turned back to the bar and exhaled louder than I had planned. Mira was now directly in front of me. She set down a drink then giggled,

"Sooo Levy wanna tell me something?" She said with a smile.

"No not really." I replied confused.

"About Gajeel?" She asks with a smirk. I blush a little,

"Mira for the hundredth time I'm not interested in Gajeel." I whisper, then grab my bag sling it over my shoulder and head to the park.

(Gajeel's POV)

I walk over to Lily and toss him his kiwis. I sit down across from him looking at the bar. I could still see shrimp and the barmaid. Shrimp was angry but she spoke quietly like she didn't want anyone to hear her. Soon after, she grab her bag and walked out the guild. I felt the urge to follow her but instead I went to the request board. I picked a flier off and brought it to Lily.

"Wanna go on a job?" I say with grin. He looked at the paper a minute,

"Gajeel did you read the whole flier or just the reward?" He said. I took it back and read it "2 or more people required."

"One," I said to myself "Two." I said pointing to Lily.

"I'm an exceed, I don't technically count." He said putting his paw to his forehead. Fine, I thought but I'm not taking the hothead or the stripper, and Juvia is out of town.

"Ok let's go get someone." I said then picked my cat up and walked out the guild. I caught her scent then followed it to the park.

(Levy's POV)

I reached the park then sat down on the bench and got out my book. I started to read when my mind drifted. I looked at the swing set and imagined me pushing a a little girl with dark blue hair. She was laughing as she went higher. I then saw Gajeel and a little boy with black hair walk over with some ice cream. The little girl jumped off and the four of us sat at one of the tables. We started to eat our ice cream when I saw Gajeel and I kiss. My heart skipped a beat, it made me sad though knowing that would never happen. Suddenly, someone sat down on the bench.

"Whatcha readin' shorty?" I heard a gruff voice say, I closed my book

"A-a story about a girl who... has dreams that she knows will never come true." I lied.

"I can see why you're crying." he said. Crying? I thought, then I felt a wetness on my cheeks. I wiped my tears and blushed a bright pink. Then Lily flew next to me and handed me a flier,

"2 Million Jewel!" I thought aloud. Gajeel snickered.

"Yeah and we need an extra member. You in?" He said smirking.

"Sure, I'll pack then we can get going." I smiled then marched to Fairy Hills.

(Gajeel's POV)

She got up and left so me and Lily went back to our house. I got some money then headed to Fairy Hills.

"So Gajeel, wanna tell me why we're bringing Levy?" Lily said flying next to me.

"Tch, Cause we needed another person." I say plainly.

"But why Levy?" He said now floating in front of me.

"Cause Juvia is out of town and I'm not pairing up with flamebrains or stripper!" I said pushing him to the side.

"Gajeel you can tell me anything you know that right?"

"There's nothing to tell!" I barked, What the hell is with him!? Why is he asking so many damn questions!? We finally reach Fairy Hills and meet up with the shrimp and head out.

This is my first Fanfic so please give me some feedback and motivation if you like it. sorry again if its short i dont have many ideas but i want write, so suggestions would be AWESOME! Thanks ill update again soon!
