~ Kylie's POV ~

It's the next day now and Justin's at his summer job so i decided to help out at a elderly home to you know help out

I walked up to the elderly home and walked to the front "hi what would you like" the woman at the front desk asked "hi um.. I would like to volunteer today at this elder home" "well... We do have a spot for you" she said while looking at her screen "ok thats great" i said "ok follow me, whats you name?" she asked and walked to a door "Kylie" i answer

She opened the door and there was a lot of elderly people "Hello everyone this is Kylie" she said "hi Kylie" they all said blandly and the woman at the front desk left me with nothing to do.

I walked up to an old man who was banging the t.v with his cane "I CANT GET THIS THING TO WORK!" The old man said angrily "here let me help you" i said taking the remote

"WHAT WAS THAT?! HAIR LEFT THE MENU?!" I old man asked very loudly

"i turned on the t.v for you." I said calmly smiling "WHATS A T.V?!" He screamed "its a box you watch things on" i said trying not to laugh, this man is just something else

"Elmer can't really hear properly" i sweet little old lady said to me "that explains the yelling" i said making her laugh, i mentally awed at the sight of this lady laughing "whats you're name?" I asked her "Clara" she said "nice to meet you Clara" " and you" she replied back

"Elmer's my best friend ever since we were kids" she said

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah we promised each other that we would never ever break our friendship" she said

"Thats cool, i have a best friend too since we were 5, and now we're dating"

"ah young love" she said leaning back in her chair

"CLAR!" The man yelled again but wasn't looking at us

"What!" She screamed

He didn't answer, he probably didn't hear her answer, then he started to get up from his chair and walk away

"Tell me about your lover" she said looking up at me since I was standing

I sat next to her "he's my best friend since we were kids and then once we got older he started acting weird when I got a boyfriend but when we broke up he asked me to be his and admitted that he had feeling for me the whole time we were friends" i said "and he's such a gentlemen"

"He seems like a good man, bring him here one day i wanna meet him" she said

"Yeah I'll bring him for sure"

Me and Clara have been talking for what felt like hours, but I liked it she has so many interesting stories to tell me, and I could feel our bond becoming stronger

"Kylie its getting late you should get home to your lover" she said

"Aww ok tell me the rest of the story next week, ok?"

"Sure thing, bye Kylie" she said

"Bye Clara" i said and bend down to hug her

(Back home)

I opened the door to the house and walked in, i took off my shoes and walked into the living room, I saw Justin on the couch eating a big bowl of popcorn watching Netflix "hey babe where were you?" He said causally stuffing a hand full of popcorn in his mouth i laughed "i volunteered at a elderly home today, and I'm going once a week" " thats very nice of you Kylie, I'm proud of you" he said looking at me "thank you" i replied "and I met this nice lady, her name is Clara and she wants to meet you one day" i sat beside Justin and took a hand full of popcorn
