Chapter #11- Black pen.

B E A U

So Luke decided that Jai and I will be a 'team'. We've gotta drive around town looking for a black van with a white 'J' on the front. No plan has been made if we actually find the van though. Maddy and Holly need to continuously ring her phone and call every number in Paris to tell them about Kara and see if they know anything. And Luke? He's scared me big time. Im so worried about him. He told us that he will walk the streets door knocking on every house while looking out for the van and Kara. Hes got it real hard. We tried asking to help him but he told us no. Hes so stressed. "Hey! Beau, look! Is that..Kara?" I spin my head around the second I hear Jais voice. "Stop the car!!" I dive out the Corvette and run the the girl. She has long brown hair, just like Kara. Shes wearing ugg boots, tights and a black jacket too. "We found you!!" I yell as I wrap my arms around her. "Lukes so worried. Come now. Lets go" She hits me and pushes me off. Shit! Theres a huge possibility right now that it isnt Kara.. she starts yelling in French. It definitely isnt Kara. She has brown eyes, Karas are green-blue. This girl has braces too. And shes wearing a Janoskian jumper. No way is that Kara. "Sorry!" I smile and wave as I jump back in the car. "Shut up and drive Jai!" I yell. "Wow. Calm down there boy. Youre acting like Luke now. Aw Beau is embarrased. Feeling awkward little Beau Peep? Lost your sheep have you?" Jai teases. "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU STUPUD CUNT!" I yell. "Okay. Woah. Sorry man" Jai puts his head down. "Keep your eye out." Jai tells me. All Im thinking about it Holly. Fuck my life.

H O L L Y

Oh how I would kill to be with Beau right now. Maddy and I have called 68 people so far. We used google translate to speak in French for us. Because you know, we are in France after all. "69th person." Maddy winges. "Only like a billion more to go." 69. Ha!! Beau and I have done that. "Bonjour" The robot says, snapping me out of my moment. "Fuck this for a joke." Maddy complains. "Stop!! If you didnt want to do this then why come to help? Seriously Im over you!" I snap. "Yeah, I've called Kara non-stop and she hasnt picked up. It is annoying but she is my friend. And we're doing this for her and Luke not ourselves." Maddy starts laughing. "Lol. Im doing this for brownie points with Jai." She bites her lip. "Fuck off then. Selfish whore." I mutter the last bit.. but loud enough so that she can hear me. I throw the phone book down on the desk and I storm out.

L U K E

Times like these when youre lucky for translators. Ive hired a random man to translate shit for me. 138 houses Ive visited so far. Basically I just stand there, smile and tell the translator what to say. Simple! My phone starts to vibrate in my pocket. I pull it out to reject the call then I see the caller "Kara?" I say as I answer the phone. "Babe. Help me. Some bitch said Im her bait to get you and pay you back." She sounds so scared. "Calm down baby. Does she have a scar on her neck. LB?" I ask. " Yes babe. Yes. We're on Fourth Avenue house number 35 in the shed outside. Bring everyone. You will need help" She starts to cry. It hurts to hear her so upset. She needs me. "Okay bubba. Stay strong. Im on my way. I love you" I reply in a comforting voice. "I-" She pauses. "Hello Luke. Remember me? Hedi? Shes with me. Dont worry. Shes safe.. for about 7 hours more. Then shes gone forever. Tick tock." My blood starts to boil. "Let her fucking go! She did nothing. That thing with you was 4 years ago!" I spit it at her. *Beep. Beep.* She hung up. I try to call her back but she must've turned Karas phone off.

**Flashback**

"Draw on my neck" Hedi playfully said. "No. Write LB. Your enitials. Dig the pen into me. It will stay forever because we will be together forever. No matter what.. dont stop" She continues. I grab a black pen and push it into her skin. She screams.. it hurts her but I keep going. "Ahhhhhhhh!!" She yells as I roll her head to look at me. "Your eyes. Theyre black." She whispers to me. "Yeah. Scary huh? Your fault. You unleashed the demon inside of me." I stab her multiple times all over her body. Its not me doing this. Its him. "Its over between us." I wink as I bite a chunk out of her arm.

**End Flashback**

"Fuck!!! Reminder to self- dont use a black pen around Kara. Black pens mixed with true love unleash him." I say aloud.

"Hey guys. Meet me on Fourth Avenue. Be as quick as you can. Use the GPS if you need. Okay? Yep. Bye" I group called everyone. Im being as quick as I can for Karas sake. Hedi is a sadistic woman. She gets pleasure knowing other people are in pain.

"Well you're a naughty girl then arent you Kara?" Hedi snickers. "Guess so. But you're fucked. Like literally. The police will probably come along with Luke, Jai, James, Beau, Daniel, Maddy, Holly and Jade." I laugh in her face. "Ooh. Youve got an army now have you? Come at me bro. All I need to do is show the cops the scars from Luke and your relationship with him will be behind bars." Hedi whispered in my ear. "Olivia!!! Go fetch me the black pen." She screamed.

**Flashback**

"Never ever use a black pen near me. Bad things will happen." Luke told me after a week of dating. "What about blue pens? Or- Or green? Red? Pink? Is-" I wanted to know all the details. "Yes. Black is the only pen that you cant use around me. Its best if you just never use a black pen while we are together baby. Ill explain when our relationship gets stronger" Luke shuddered.

**End of flashback!**

"No!! Not a black pen. Use blue or red or pink anything but black!!!" I exclaim. "No but hunni... black is the only pen Lukes demon will repond to. We want it to be unleashed. We want it to attack you. We want Luke to feel the pain, the horror, the heartbreak of losing you. Well we dont. I do." Hedi said in a twisted voice as she looked down at her phone. 'Sorry but I cant be a horrible person like you are. I have left and told the police. They will be there before you can think of harming Kara. From Olivia.' "THAT BITCH!" Hedi screamed.

"You will pay for making her do this" She pulled out a knife and cut my wrist horizontally. "Man. This doesnt hurt. I did this before. It relieves stress if you ask me. Thanks hun." I chuckled. "Ugh!" She yelled and stormed out the shed. It did hurt though. It was horrible. The pain wasnnt bearable. I sat and cried, trying to stop the blood flow to the cut. Blood covered my white crop top making it red. Within seconds everything around me was red. I could hardly see. Everything was a big blur. "Help!" I tried to yell but I was to weak. I took my phone and called Luke. "Babe. She cut me. Im losing to much blood.. and shes getting a black pen. If something happens to me and Im not alive when you get here I just want you to know that I love you." I cried even harder. "We are two houses away. Police and paramedics are here too. Stay strong baby. See you in about 1 minute. Nothing will happen. Jai and all the other boys will stop him from hurting you. I will use all my strenghth to make sure the demon doesnt hurt you. Love you bubba." Luke said in a sympathetic voice. "Were here. Im hanging up now... bye baby." I tried to reply but I was too weak. "Bye-" I wheezed.

Within seconds I saw him run to my side. Everything was a blur. I remember getting put on a stretcher and put into an ambulance. I dont think I was there to see what happened with Luke and Hedi. But everyone will fill me in. Right now I just want to forget.

****T/L (Time lapse)****

"Karaa..." I heared a deep husky voice. "You might not be able to hear me but I love you so fucking much. I was so worried. Tomorrow we are flying back to Melbourne. I spoke to Amber and your mum and they said its fine if you stay with us for longer then we planned. I hope you're alright with that." "I am baby. Can we fly back tonight?" I sit up and ask. "I'll call the boys then. Lets go tonight!" Luke picks up his phone and goes to call Beau. "Wait.. when we get to Melbourne Im gonna thank you in a way that you will enjoy lots." I wink.
