Welcome Home, Partner

 "After -Player's Name-'s departure of the Concordian Flying Squad, everybody decided to go on vacation, including me. We all deserved it after all of this. Now that Charlie is dead... I guess there is no point of continuing this journal. I... just wanted to finish it. Finish it for Charlie. After I'm done writing the last entry of this journal, I will keep preciously in a box so George could read it when he is going to be older! So George, if you are reading this, your dad and I are so proud of you and we love you so much...

Thank you Charlie for all those great memories... I hope you rest in peace.

Jack Archer, ex-agent of the Bureau team, closed the notebook. The triplets and Player's Name were in shocked. They didn't expect the end to be really emotional. They were happy that the Concordian Flying Squad had a happy ending after the death of the notebook's owner, but they still didn't expect Madeline, his wife, to finish the notebook with a heart-breaking entry. The triplets were crying, Player's Name was also shredding a tear or two and even Jack was crying.

- Uncle Jack, sobbed May, did you know that it was going to be sad???

- I discovered the story at the same time as you guys, so I didn't expect it to be really... emotional.

The triplets were still crying, Jack whipped his tears and went behind the kids to hug them, to comfort them. Player's Name went also to hug the children, because they felt very bad for them. After a long minute of crying and hugging, Player's Name had an excellent idea to bring up the mood in the room and whispered it in Jack's ear.

- That's a great idea!

Jack stood up, with a big smile on his face, approving Player's Name's idea.

- April, May, June, I know that this story made you all cry and it's okay to feel sad because of that, but I hate to see you all like this, so I'm treating you all with ice cream!

The triplets were suddenly really happy, whipping their tears off. They all ran to their room, to change into a better outfit to go outside. Jack looked at Player's Name's with a smile on his face and a thumbs up.

- I'm really glad that you stayed here with me, Lars and the kids! You have brilliant ideas, I don't know what I would have done without you!

Jack left to check on the kids. One year ago, when the Bureau was dismissed, Lars and Jack moved together into a house in Canada, with the kids. They invited Player's Name to stay for a while, until they have a new job. They accepted their offer and they were living a happy life. Player's Name was really happy, but they also missed their life with the Bureau. It was full of adventures and it was really fun. They also missed the Pacific Bay and Grimsborough police team. They were glad to see Grace again, but Player's Name wanted to see all of them. Jones, Alex, Nathan, Cathy, Amy, Hannah, Yann, Roxie, Russell... They sighed and when they wanted to leave the room, they received a call. It was Ingrid. They answered.

- Oh hello Player's Name! I received a letter from the Grimsborough Police Department! It's from a certain David Jones.

Player's Name was shocked, once again, but this time, for the good reasons. Ingrid also mentioned that she was in Canada for a small vacation and she brought the letter. She gave Player's Name a rendezvous place for today at 5PM. They agreed to meet her up and hanged up. After some arrangements with Jack, Player's Name left the house to meet up with Ingrid.

Ingrid was waiting for them at a local Canadian coffee shop, not far away from Jack and Lars' home, so it didn't take long for Player's Name to arrive. After 30 minutes of chatting and drinking coffee, Ingrid finally gave the letter to Player's Name and said this:

- It's time for me to leave, I wish you best of luck for the future.

15 minutes later, when Player's Name came back home, they took the letter and started to read:

"Dear Player's Name,

You have no idea how much I miss you, partner! It still feels so weird, even after 5 years, since the day you left. I'm sorry that I didn't send you a letter sooner, but a LOT happened when you were gone.

But before I start, I want to say that I'm proud of you! You saved not only the town of Pacific Bay from serial killers, hurricanes, brainwashed technology, robots and total destruction of the city, but you also saved the world from a criminal organization! I can't express the words of how proud I am!

Now, with my life. Like I said, a lot happened when you left. I want to start with Nathan. He left the police force to become a veterinarian! That is really amazing! He saved so many animal lives and I'm sure he is still doing a good job! I haven't had much news from him for a while, but I'm sure he is doing fine!

After, there's Grace. She left the Grimsborough police force too, but I heard she joined the Bureau with you! I bet she was really happy to see you again, in Antarctica! I miss her a lot, I hope she is doing well! She is so lucky to meet penguins in real life and to work with them. It's sad to know that there was a murder there, when she was here, but I'm glad she is safe!

Now, my favorite couple, Cathy and Alex! Player's Name, they got married! I was there for their marriage, everyone was there and I cried a lot. Sadly, they were sad to know that you couldn't come, since it was around the time that Pacific Bay was falling apart, but they understood and still kept a place for you. Ramirez placed a big teddy bear on the chair, just to be sure that the chair wasn't empty. It was really adorable overall and just thinking about it makes me so joyful! The best past is that they also had a child! His name is Samuel, but we all call him Sammy. Of course, the name is based from our ex-Chief, Cathy's grandpa, Samuel King. I really hope that he is watching over Cathy, being really proud of her achievements.

Ramirez left, but also came back to the Police Force! He met you in Pacific Bay and he told me all the stories about you, him and Frank that happened. He feels really bad for what happened to Frank and went to visit his grave one month after his death. Now, he is feeling really good and he really improves his detective skills. I'm so proud of our little Ramirez!

Finally, me. Well, nothing really happened to me, even with all those events. I just stayed the same old Jones who eats too many cookies and that is "goofy". I do admit that I felt lonely at some point, but I kept my cool and went through it.

Enough about sad stuff! We got new recruits! They are really amazing people and even if I miss Grace and Nathan, I still love them and you are going to love them too. Why did I say that you are going to love them? We heard that the Bureau is no more and that you didn't find a job yet...

So, we offer you, again, a job in the Grimsborough Police Force!!!

I am so excited! I will get to see you again and we can be partners again!! I left some money so you could buy a plane ticket for Grimsborough and don't worry, the Airport is not controlled by an evil cult, like before! Hehehehe

The last thing I want to say is...

Player's Name couldn't hold the tears, this time.

At the Canadian Airport, they said goodbye to Jack, Lars and the triplets, promising them to visit them in the future and they left for Grimsborough, their home.
