Jason walked into the shop, being hastily greeted by the manager, the man sweating as the others had been working on a problem with Freddy. he then was led down the hallway, pretty dimly lit at that since no one ever really went to pirate cove. This saddened Jason, he had really loved Foxy the most as a child, always having wanted to be a pirate.
He sighed and stepped into the room, a few spotlights illuminating the stage with a 'Sorry! Out Of Order' sign in front of the starry curtain. The manager then handed Jason a screwdriver; some oil; fake rust colored orange fur; and rust colored paint.
"W-W-We j-just need y-you to f-f-f-fix up F-Foxy h-h-here." The short man stammered, already nervous about Freddy being broken down.
Jason nods, walking up the steps to the stage, walking past a few cardboard palmtrees and on sand scattered across the floor. He gingerly pulls back the curtain, revealing what had used to be the mighty and brave Pirate, Foxy. Now it was just a broken down piece of junk. The fox was sitting crookedly in it's chair, looking like it had been forced into it and had been there a while. Jason blew the dust off of it's mechanics, frowning a little.
"Oh Foxy, what have they done to you." He mumbles to himself, moving a hand to press against the matted fur. He sighs and begins fixing up the poor Animatronic. First he starts with making sure he was put together. He noticed the loose screws on the Fox's jaw, easily fixing those as he starts then on the oil. He wanted to get that first so it wouldn't get on it's new fur. He smiled as he worked, humming tunelessly. He started to gently just mumble the melody to a song, it coming out as "dum dum dum dum." As he did it.
He then started the paint, painting the Fox's exposed metal the orange color. "Oh Foxy. I wanted to be just like you when I grew up. You were my favorite. I can't belive that you were shunned by the others, them thinking they can take all the glory." Jason jumped a little when one of the Fox's ears creaked so it was facing him. "Oh my God you scared me." He smiled lightly, adding oil to the ear and swiveling it around with ease. "There, now you have full mobility.. in your ear." He says, and laughs again. Jason cotinued to paint along the metal, going over the older parts with a fresh coat.
He then takes a rag from the floor, spits on it, and starts to clean Foxy's sharp teeth. Then Jason polished the hook as well, not being able to get the dents out of it though. "You know Foxy, you actually look very handsome, people should appreciate that more." He says, standing up and backing away, wiping the sweat from his brow from the spotlights beating down on him. He grins, proud of his work. "And now to fix those nasty gashes." He says, walking back and kneeling before the Fox as he had been before.
He then started to fill in the empty patches, not the smallest bit afraid. Until it's arm moved. His gaze quickly moved to it, him frowning a little. "Now now, I'm almost done." He says, almost like he was scorning the robot. Jason then added the fur to the fox, finishing after about an hour.
He then stepped back to admire his handy work. He nodded, smiling. "Well old chap, it was great seeing you again." He says, picking up his stuff and leaving Pirate's Cove, accepting his 50 dollars for the week. "See you monday!" He shouts to the manager. Jason then went back home, content with his work.
