"You're Harry Potter? As in the Harry Potter? The boy who lived?"

"Why do you seem so surprised?" He asked us.

"Just because I don't see your scar." Cheryl said as in if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"Oh really?" He said in a gloating voice as he brushed his hair out of his face so that they saw a deep red scar in the shape of a lightning bolt.

"Ugh." Cheryl said, obviously annoyed that she was wrong.

"Well anyway, it was so nice meeting you." Harry said with sarcasm pointed out in his voice.

When we finished talking about how each of us thought Hogwarts would look like(Cheryl thought it would be made of shining glass and crystals and that the dining hall would be made of gold and diamond and sapphires. Whilst, Genevieve thought that would look like it was made of beautiful polished stones and the dining hall would be called something fancy like The Grand Hall or something. The tables would be organized by personality. The tables would look like normal eating benches and when it was time to eat, food would magically pop up from the tables.) the prefects came around telling everyone to change into their robes.

So, we knew that meant that the train was stopping soon. We were excited to see what Hogwarts to see which one of us were right about how Hogwarts looks like.

When we heard a loud voice yell "firs' years! Firs' years over here!". It was a half giant who's name was apparently Hagrid as everyone was telling me.

We went onto some boats which could only carry 3 people per boat. When we were in the middle of the boat ride, me, Cheryl, and Genevieve, fell off the boat.

When we were in the water we felt a tentacle grab around. "Hello, little children, I do not get much company down here, but when I do I enjoy it." A voice said.

We saw that it was coming from what looked like a giant squid.

"We have to be going soon sir." I said.

"I see something in you children, I think that you three will be destined for greatness." The giant squid said in a cool, calm voice.

"Please do come again. He said.

"We'll try to" Cheryl said.

The squid lifted us up above the lake and back into our boat which had barely moved. I was very surprised when I looked at myself and my friends, we weren't even wet! Even after going into the lake.

When we arrived, the castle looked just as Genevieve thought it would.

But now, I know for a fact that Genevieve didn't think that it looked like that, she knew that it looked like that. She knew because all of her older sisters had been to Hogwarts and told her that was how it looked like.

We went into the large castle and went to the Great Hall. It was giant.

We were starting a thing called "the sorting".

It was where you put on a magical hat called the sorting hat that has lived for at least 500 years. It sorts you into a house Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor, or Hufflepuff. Ravenclaw was for the smart people. Slytherin for the cunning ones. Hufflepuff for the loyal. Lastly, Gryffindor for the brave.

"Abott,Hannah!" They called out. HUFFLEPUFF! Andrews, Cheryl!

"That's me" Cheryl whispered.

"We know" me and Genevieve said at the same time

"Now go up! Hurry!" We told her.

Me and Genevieve couldn't wait to hear what house Cheryl would get into!

RAVENCLAW!

Johnson,Genevieve!

Genevieve went up to the chair sat on it and carefully put on the hat.

RAVENCLAW!

Genevieve walked to the Ravenclaw table as they cheered to have her in their house. Genevieve hugged Cheryl and squealed. They were in the same house!

Miller, Ava!

Ava felt nervous as she walked. Would she get into the same house as her two best friends?

RAVENCLAW!

Sorry! I've been writing really little lately...
