A Roller Coaster Ride Through Love

First Day

Jake's POV:

Wow. First day of high school. I don't even know how to feel. Summer's basically over, i get to see my friends, and I get to meet some new people as well. I've never been this excited since the first day of kindergarten. I can not wait to see what my new school has in store for me.

September 4th, First day of school

"Hey Bryson how's it going dude?" I said after not talking to him in forever.

Bryson is one of my best friends and we do everything together. We talked to each other over the summer, but not in person.

"I'm great dude. How was your summer?" He said back.

"It wasn't too bad actually."

"Cool, i'll talk to you later right?"

"Of course."

Bryson is a lot more of a "popular" kid than I am i guess you could say. He has like five times the amount of friends than I do. After he left, I went to the main office to find my schedule and locker number. I took my schedule and my stuff to the locker I was assigned and got my stuff sorted out in it. I grabbed my phone and just sat at my locker looking through Instagram. I found this girl on there who lived pretty close to me but didn't go to my school. She thought I was cute and I decided to hangout with her a few times during the summer since we wouldn't see each other during the school year. We have been dating for a while now but she keeps on talking about breaking up since we never see each other. I get where she's coming from but I need a better reason to do that to her.

Mikayla's POV: Oh. My. God. I am freaking out right now. It's the first day of school already and i feel like summer flew by. Especially since I had my friends over for most of it. The one thing I'm scared about most is boys. Going to a new school means a lot of new guys. 

"Ellie! Oh my gosh i missed you so much."

As you can already tell, Ellie is my best friend. She's been my best friend since we were like four years old. After I gave her a hug, I turned around and saw my other best friends. Taylor, Marlee, Kayla (we used to be called the Kayla twins because our names are similar) and Jen. I gave them all a big hug and Ellie joined in behind me. I honestly have no idea what I would do without my best friends. They are like my world. I love them to death!

Jake's POV:

Lunch

"Hey guys, you know that Savannah girl I've been talking about? Yeah well she's been trying to find a way to break up with me since we can't physically be together."

"For real dude? Why don't you just break up with her first. Won't that make it easier?"

This is my buddy Chase. We've dealt with each other's problems ever since we were small. He's been my "go-to" guy my entire life.

"I don't know man, I think she needs a better reason to break up with me. Like, I think she wants me to do something to hurt her."

"Alright well I got nothing else to say so you might have to figure this one out on your own. Sorry Jake."

"It's cool, I'll figure something out."
