"Mom I'm having company over to help them with their homework" I stated as I walked in the kitchen where my mother was.
"And who is this 'company'" My mother said as she stop reading some papers and looked up at me.
"You know her so don't worry mom, I'm not bringing a stranger in your house" I said while laughing a little
"Mhmm just make sure you and your sister play nice, no fighting" My mother said as she stuffed the papers in to her brief case.
"And we are you going" I asked with one of my eyes brows arched.
"Your father and I have a meet to attend" My mother stated as she closed her brief case and got up out her seat.
My parents owned their very own business, they were house flippers so they would take old mansion that was horrible looking and rebuild it so that it would look more elegant. My parents have been running their business since me and my sister was born and they never stopped.
"Ugh mom y'all always gone either spending time with each other or at meetings, we don't even have mommy and daughters day anymore" I whined while poking my bottom lip out.
"Girl you always acting like a baby, your 17 years old grow up" I heard Xandrya spat as she entered the kitchen.
"Don't snap her neck, don't snap her neck" I mumbled as I closed my eyes relaxing.
"Bye momma have fun at your meeting" Xandrya said kissing our mom on her cheeks
"Okay bye babies" My mom said giving me and Xandrya a kiss on the cheek.
I sat my phone on the kitchen counter as I went in refrigerator ignoring Xandrya presences and that's when I heard the front door close.
"Look I'm having company over so do what you do best and act invisible" Xandrya said as she waved her hands like she was a magician.
I rolled my eyes and looked at her as she held a smirk on her face. I knew she wanted a reaction out of me but I just smiled at her knowing I was getting under her skin.
