The words echoed through my head as we drove home: He might not wake up.

My eyes sting at the thought of him not being here for me anymore; He makes everything better. And the last time we saw each other we fought.

"Jackie, he's going to be okay," Robyyn tries to comfort me but I ignore him. The car stops and Chelsee and Robyyn get out at their house, saying goodbye to us and walking inside.

Robyyn's P.O.V:

We walk in and see Vinnie sitting on the couch, staring off into space. "Vin, what's wrong?" I ask. "I got to talk to Colbie today. He said that he's getting out in a few weeks and he's really scared that Jackie is going to hate him," Vinnie says and I sigh.

"Did he say how drunk he was?" Chelsee asks. "He drank three bottles of Vodka. He was fucking drunk as shit," Vinnie says and we nod. "V, you'll protect her if he tries to hurt her, right?" I ask and he nods hesitantly.

"If I had to I would kill him," he states and sighs. "I'm going to take a shower," he says, walking to his room. "I really hope Jinxx wakes up, Jackie's really depressed," I say and Chelsee nods. "If Vin tried to kill Colbie you'd help stop him, right?" I ask and she nods.

"I want both of my brothers," she states and I pout. "What am I then?" I ask. "A brother. But I'll always have you, I don't have to worry about you leaving," she says smiling and I nod. "I'm going to go get some melatonin and Zoloft," I say and she nods, turning the tv on.

"Hurry back," she says and I nod, walking out the door and walking to the pharmacy.

When I leave it's dark outside. I pull my jacket closer to my body, shivering. Something hard hits my neck and I gasp, holding it. Two strong arms slam me against the brick wall, nails digging into my flesh.

I scream out and they slap a hand over my mouth, shushing me. I whimper and they smirk, holding a shiny object up. "W-what did I even do to you?" I whimper and he stabs the knife through my stomach, leaving it therre and backing away.

I gasp and fall onto my knees, leaning against the wall. "Holy shit! Rian!" Chelsee yells and the guy runs away. She crouches beside me, pushing my hair out of my face. "I-I called an ambulance," she says, tears streaming down her face.

"Y-you called me Rian," I whisper, my eyes getting tired. "Y-yeah. Y-you're gonna be o-okay," she says and I shake my head. "Do you know who that was?" I ask. "I-I think so. It lo-looked like Jordan. T-the guy f-from school th-that always beat m-me up. Y-you always s-stood u-up to h-him," she says, forcing a smile.

"I-I don't want to die, Chels," I whimper, looking at the dark red spot on my shirt. "You aren't going to. You're gonna be okay," she says and I close my eyes, taking a shaky breath and coughing. "Rian, p-please don't die," her cries fade out, until I can't see or hear anything.

Jackie's P.O.V:

I drive to the hospital quickly, asking where Robyyn's room was. "Someone is in there at the moment. When she comes back she'll show you," the nurse says and I nod, sitting down and waiting for Chelsee to come out.

A few seconds later I hear screaming and see the nurses leading Chelsee out of the room. She's screaming and crying and when they let go of her she collapses on the floor, wailing. "What happened?" I ask a nurse.

"His heart monitor started going crazy: Took him into surgery. We don't know if he's going to be okay," she says, patting my shoulder and walking away.

I sink onto the floor next to Chelsee and she looks at me, the light from her eyes gone. "H-he's going to die," she states and starts screaming again. I sob, holding her.

The hospital door opens and the guys walk in with Ella and Juliet, looking at us in confusion. "Did you hear? Jinxx is awake," CC says. "I-I didn't hear. The nurses walked up to me and I screamed fuck you," I sniffle.

"What happened?" Ashley asks. "R-Robyyn's gonna die," Chelsee whispers in a hoarse voice. "Maybe. He got stabbed and he isn't stable," I say and they nod, hugging us. "Why did Jinxx get to live and not Robyyn, Robyyn didn't even want to die," Chelsee mumbles.

"He isn't dead!" I yell. "Jinxx should have died and Robyyn should have lived," she says and I sigh.

A nurse walks up to us with a solemn look on her face and my heart drops. "I'm sorry girls. Rian Gilmore isn't going to live," she says and Chelsee wails, throwing herself on me. I rub her back and kiss the top of her head, tears running down my face.

"You can go see him and say your goodbyes," the nurse says and we nod, following her to his room and standing on either side of him, holding one of his hands. "H-hi," he says, his voice coated in sadness. "Hey. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have let you go alone," Chelsee says, wiping her eyes.

"If you went with me he would've gotten us both. Don't kill yourself, okay? You need to stay alive and die of old age, then you can tell me about everything interesting that happens, okay? That goes for both of you," he says and we nod.

"It's the nurses faults. They took the knife out before they gave me enough blood. Like they wanted me to die," he says, chuckling. I start crying and he frowns. "I don't want the last thing I see and here to be my girls crying. I want you guys to be happy," he says and I nods, sniffling.

"H-how can we be happy i-if you're g-going to die?" Chelsee asks and he shrugs. "I want you to cremate me and mix my ashes with glitter, okay? A-and split it between you and Vinnie. I-I got lockets for you guys and a c-cool watch for Vinnie," he says, handing us the items.

We force smiles and kiss his cheeks, standing beside him until he takes his last breath.
