Taehyung walked home with a bag full of snacks in his left hand. His ear pods were playing some of the most popular songs in korea right now.

As he walked down the darkened alleyway, he sensed that something was not right. He took out his ear pod and looked around to see if anyone was following him.

In fact, someone was.

"Hey blondie." A harsh voice called from behind Taehyung.

He quickly turned around and say a group of at least five guys all standing behind him. The one who had called for him was wearing a red bandanna around his forehead.

Taehyung predicted he was the leader judging by his stance and the cigarette he held onto in his mouth.

"Where do you think you're going? Walking in our turf like some kind of magical being." The guy hesitated and then started to laugh. "I forgot, you ARE a magical being."

His friends started to laugh at the sarcastic joke as well. Taehyung gripped his bag and glared at them.

"So what if I'm a 'magical being.' It's better than being an asshole human like yourselves." Taehyung smirked at his comeback.

The leader, of course, did not smirk. Instead he gritted his teeth and snarled back at Taehyung.

"Pretty boy thinks he's so smart calling us assholes. I'll show him who the true asshole is!"

"I'm home" Taehyung said while taking off his shoes and setting them next to the rest. He placed his food down on the counter and took off his jacket.

"Welcome home," Jimin hesitated. "What the hell happened to your face?" He asked in shock.

Jimin rushed over to Taehyung and held his face in his hand to observe the damage.

"Did you get in a fight Taehyung?"

Taehyung looked away. "You sound like my mom." He brushed Jimin's hand away from his face and pushed past him.

Jimin turned and watch Taehyung walk away.

"The hell Taehyung, come here." Jimin paced towards him and grabbed his wrist.

Taehyung let out a brief sound of pain, to which Jimin let go of his wrist and pushed his sleeve up.

A giant bruise was placed on the side of Taehyungs small wrist.

Jimin looked up in anger and took Taehyung to the bathroom.

"Jimin I said I'm fine." Taehyung objected the help from Jimin and tried to pull away, but he couldn't. His grip on his wrist was so strong Taehyung couldn't easily pull away.

Silence filled the bathroom as Jimin looked around for the first aid kit.

Once he found it, he rolled Taehyung's sleeve up and started treating the other wounds left on Taehyung's arm.

"I won." Taehyung said quietly, not knowing if Jimin could hear him. Of course Jimin heard and looked up. His face was mixed with anger, concern, and sadness.

Taehyung looked away. "I'm sorry."

Jimin sighed and looked at Taehyung. "Did you do this at home too?"

Taehyung looked over at Jimin. His face was cold as he remembered his home and past.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up. I guess it's a sensitive topic." Jimin said in a softer tone and began to take care of Tae's wounds again.

He sighed. "I guess you should know now rather than later." He looked back down at Jimin.

"I was never the golden child in my family. My brother was the golden child. He learned how to fly before me, he always got better grades, he was better at sports, better looking. My parents always praised him and talked about him with their friends." Taehyung sighed.

"No one mentioned me. I felt like and outcast to my own family. Even my brother started to look down upon me after I graduated middle school. From then on, I started living in my own world in my own house. My parents never once asked me how my day was the same way they asked my brother. Their faces were always cheerful while looking and talking to him, and with me it's always just 'you need to stop goofing around and get your grades up like your brother. How do you think we'll feel if our son was bringing down the reputation of our family. Pull yourself together.'"

Jimin was in shock. "Did they really say that?"

Taehyung nodded. He turned his face away from Jimin. He didn't want him to see him crying.

"Taehyung..." Jimin quietly said. He reached for Taehyung's chin and turned his face towards him.

Yo Jimin's surprise, Taehyung's face was covered in tears.

He placed his head on Jimin's shoulder to hide his face. Taehyung has never let anyone see him in pain and cry.

"But I still miss my home. No matter how neglected I was, I still miss it." Taehyung's crying filled the room as Jimin caressed his hair.

"I can't go back though. I really wish I could..." He whispered to himself as he refrained from crying more.

Jimin took Tae's shoulders and pulled him up to face him. He looked at Taehyung with sorrowful eyes and leaned in and kissed him.

Taehyung, in shock, pulled back and covered his mouth. He looked at Jimin who looked to be, also, in shock of what he just did.

"I'm, im sorry Taehyung. I just..." Jimin hesitated to continue the sentence before running out of the bathroom, leaving a confused Taehyung sitting on the ledge of the bath tub.

"What just happened..." Taehyung questioned.

I'm the other room, Jimin laid on his bed and covered his reddened face.

Both were in disbelief of what happened.
