Chapter 1

Lost In Hope

-Lucy's P.O.V-

*Sigh* Here we go again. Another day of hatred thrown towards me. I bust open the door and same old, same old, everyone gave me death stares. I smiled and waved, hoping it would loosen up the tension in the air, but it didn't. "Why is she still here?" Lisanna whispered to Natsu. "I don't know. I guess she has the guts to be the weakest in our guild." Natsu whispered back. Lisanna gave an evil, yet suspicious grin, which made me feel anxious. I sighed and went to Mira to get a strawberry milkshake. 

"Hey, Mira. A strawberry milkshake, please. The usual," I chuckled a little, knowing that I still have Mirajane, Wendy, Levy and Gajeel. Though, I kind of hope that I still have Natsu. After all, he was my first love but I guess I was just a replacement for Lisanna in his eyes. I sighed and finished off my drink. "Thanks, Mira," I thanked her and then stood up. "Any time, Lucy," she smiled as she put away my cup. 

I turned around and accidentally bumped into someone or something that felt like steel. 'It can't be Gajeel. He went out on a job with Lily. Oh no, don't tell me...' I thought before shooting my head up to see a furious Erza. "You dropped... MY STRAWBERRY CAKE?!" she yelled at me. "S-Sorry, I'll get you another one-" I was cut off by her slap. 'Did Erza just slap me?' I thought as I held my red cheek in pain. "Since I am the closest to Master, I can't kill you. Though, if I had a choice, I would kill you right now and right here," she quickly clarified before leaving with Lisanna. 

"What makes you so scary?" I scoffed quietly as I tried to get myself together. "Did you say something?" Erza turned around and glared at me. "Why are people so scared of you? You use your magic in disgrace and that's not a true wizard. A true wizard would use their magic for good," I blurted, not realising what I just said. "You don't tell me what I should do," Erza fired back. I stood up while chuckling a little. "And you don't tell me who I am," with that, I walked straight to Gramp's office, leaving Erza and the guild in shock. 

I knocked on the door and he told me to come in. I sighed but I know that I have to do this. "I'd like to leave F-Fairy Tail," I started to tear up as good memories from this guild started to flood in my body. "I understand, child. Give me your hand," he said before chanting a spell which made my insignia disappear. Now that it was finished, I left the guild.

'Where do I go now?'
