5- Villain Attack

Todoroki's POV

Shigaraki's hand touched Aizawa's head and we heard him screaming from the pain. Midoriya looked me in the eyes and nodded. I knew exactly what he meant and nodded back. I shot ice again which was, again, stopped by Kurogiri. Midoriya took that chance to attack Shigaraki and Mr. Aizawa was saved, for now. I heard a familiar voice, All Might came to help us! ''It's all okay now... because I am here!'' I looked at the others and saw that Dabi escaped and was running towards us. My ice was slower than usual because I've used it a lot. He was able to judge it, but he didn't take the chance to attack me. He was now close to me and I froze him. ''Do you really want to hurt me, little brother?'' My eyes widened and I realized who it was. My brother Toya has been missing for a couple years now, I never would've thought that he became a villain... my own brother. ''Do you really want to become a hero? Be someone like our father? You can join us... it'd be better for you.''

Before I realized it, tears starting flowing out of my eyes. ''I will never become like that old man. I'm going to be a hero that people can look up to, just like All Might! I can't believe you chose to be a villain...'' He tried to escape from the ice but Sero already taped him again, this time with even more tape. The other villains were captured and U.A. pro heroes arrived at the attack. Because the heroes arrived, Kurogiri teleported everyone away and Shigaraka couldn't believe he lost again. ''DAMN YOU HEROES!!!'' He disappeared with the others again. No one was really hurt except for Mr. Aizawa. I was really surprised that Midoriya didn't break any bones this time. Mr. Yamashi told everyone to come to him and that they'll be told what to do now. They had to go to their own rooms and Mr. Yamashi had to inform the police about the attack and Nezu took care of the journalists.

Normal POV

Everyone had to go to their dorms, school ended for that Friday. Todoroki suggested making tea for Midoriya. ''Do you still want to go tomorrow? It's okay if you want to rest.'' The smaller boy looked up to him and smiled. ''Oh, of course, I still want to go. Guess I'll go to bed early today... are you sure you're fine?'' Apparently, Midoriya was still worried about him. ''I'm fine, I already told you not to worry about it. I'm going to sleep too. Good night, Midoriya.''

The next day they did their morning routine and went downstairs to see the others. Kaminari was playing games on the PlayStation with the rest of the bakusquad. Bakugo was yelling at the tv because he lost. Kaminari saw Todoroki coming into the room. ''HEYO TODOROKI CAN YOU BUYETH ME SOME AIRPODSS?!'' Todoroki didn't understand what he meant by that. ''What are 'airpods', Kaminari?'' Everyone in the room gasped. Even Midoriya was surprised that he didn't know what AirPods are. ''YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT AIRPODS ARE??!! I feel attacked. How DARE you.'' ''Airpods are wireless headphones, very popular right now. But they're also expensive so just ignore what he said.''

Kirishima explained it to him. ''Expensive? Popular? Do I have to buy it for everyone who wants it? I can do that.'' The Bakusquad and everyone who wasn't listening now looked at Todoroki. ''YOU REALLY WANT TO BUY THESE FOR US?!'' Mina hugged him and thanked him. Tsuyu laughed. "I'll buy them later with my old man's credit card. I have to go now. Midoriya, are you ready to go?'' Midoriya nodded and they walked to the door. ''Are you two going on a date?'' Mina stared at them waiting for an answer. Midoriya tried to hide his face. ''N-no! We're just going to get some ice cream, that's all!'' Todoroki didn't care about what Mina said and they left.

Midoriya's POV

Todoroki and I walked to a park. I have been there before with Ochako and Iida, and they had delicious ice cream. When we arrived, I looked at the options and already decided what flavor I wanted. ''I'm going for chocolate mint, that's my favorite.'' Todoroki looked at me and was thinking about what to choose. ''I've never had ice cream before, so I don't have a favorite... I'll go for chocolate mint too.'' He smiled at me and asked the ice cream seller for two chocolate mint ice cream. When I wanted to give the money he stopped me and used his credit card. ''You don't have to pay I-'' ''I already told you I have enough money from my old man's credit card. Don't worry about it'' I nodded and we took our ice cream with us and looked for a bench. We found one really fast and sat on the bench together. ''It's delicious!'' Todoroki smiled and continued eating his ice cream. I laughed and looked at the trees around us. It was a beautiful sunny day and you could hear the birds chirp peacefully. "So Todoroki, tell me something about yourself. What are your hobbies?''

Todoroki's smile disappeared when I said that. ''I don't know. I've never really done something fun that I like... does studying count?'' I was really shocked at what Todoroki said and couldn't understand why he never has done something fun. ''Studying doesn't count... you have nothing that you like to do? What do you do in your free time?'' Todoroki sighed and looked away. 

''I'll start telling something about myself first I guess... I like to take notes about quirks and heroes. I have a couple pages of you too!'' After I said that, I realized it could sound really creepy if I say it that way. ''You do? What do you have in them?'' I grabbed my back and searched for my notebook. Good thing I always bring it with me. ''Well I know your quirk is named 'Half-Cold Half-Hot' but I don't have a lot of that fire side. Todoroki looked at my notes. "Ah. I don't want to use my left side in battle. I see you've paid attention to what I did.'' "Why don't you use your left side? You have an amazing quirk but you don't want to use it?! Why?'' Todoroki looked away again. ''I... you know that the Number 2. hero Endeavor is my father, right?'' ''Yeah, a lot of people dislike him for the way he acts.'' I kind of understood where he wanted to go. I loved a lot of heroes but... even I didn't like Endeavor. ''I hate him. I can't tell what he did but he has done a lot of bad things... worse than you can ever imagine. His quirk is Hellflame, so it makes sense that I have a fire side right? My right side, ice, is from my mother. I don't want to use something from my old man. I don't want anything from him. I'm just here to make his wish come true.'' It was obvious that Todoroki didn't like talking about it. ''But, isn't it like, your power?''

That's the end of chapter 5! I won't be able to write a lot of new chapters in a while since my phone is stolen and I can only write on my laptop. Here's a cute TodoDeku
