Hybrid: Offspring resulting from cross-breeding different entities, e.g. two different species or two purebred parent strains. In this case, an animal mixed with a human.

"Hyah!" Blu shouted as he struck the large beast he was riding with his whip. It roared and began running. It was a incredible animal, with three onyx eyes in the front, the body shape and horn like a rhinosaurus, strength of three elephants, almost as fast a cheetah reaching running speeds up to 55 miles per hour.  I just need to get to the S-Jet, Blu thought whipping the creature a second time. He’d gotten into a bit of trouble when he's went into town to gather some much needed supplies, and due to hs carelessness and lous boistrous attitude and actions, he'd been spotted by his teams number one arch enemy. He’d decided to try and take her down himself for once, and show the team that he had worth, but that was before he realized he didn’t have his weapons. So he ran.

Now he had the same enemy he’d tried to take down, the Sphinx and her men, on his and the tripex, he'd highjacked while trying to make his escape, tail. That's what he got for confronting her before the team had arrived. It also explained why Innocent, his rather seeminly innocent albeit violent teamate, hadn't used the P.E.T.T.R.O. to teleport him onto the S-Jet. She had this whole thing about “He needed to learn about responsibility, and not to go off on his own.” Man, the youngest member on the team and the bossiest, he thought and he whipped it a third time.

He stopped once he'd reached highland, thinking he'd lost them. He hopped off the animal and onto grassy terrain, throwing the whip on the ground. The land seemed as if it stretched for miles upon miles. Up ahead was only more mountainour regions and vegetation, places he was sure he could hide until Innocent had felt he'd learned his lesson. He continued walked, leaving the the tripex behind. It would only bring more attention to him.  He was sure he could make it there quickly... that is, until one of her henchmen caught him by suprise and almost stabbed him with a sword, luckily missing by an inch and grazing his shirt. The three eyed creature started, stood on its hind legs, and then ran off. That was the thing about the animal. They were terrible companions, would leave you the second they sensed danger if you were riding it.

"Okay you want to fight? Let's go." Blu challenged, surrounded by 2 more of her lackeys.

"Innocent." She heard her name calmly called, and she jumped to attention.  But at realizing it was just her mentor Wade, she relaxed back into her chair. He always had some counsel to give her. And no matter how hard she tried, she could never please him. You would think being a tigress hybrid on a skill level of 10, at only the age of fifteen, he wouldn’t treat her like such a little kid.

"What now Wade?" Her aggravated remark only made him chuckle and she rolled her eyes.

"How long are you going to let Blu stay out there?"

"'Till he learns his lesson about being a pig-head." She closed her eyes imaging Blu gettin eaten by the tripex. He was so irritating, even if he was older than he, by the way he acted you would think he was seven. She could hear her mentor sigh, obviously irritated with her immaturity. But it wasn't like she cared. Blu deserved it after leaving when she advised not to, but not only that, taking on a world reknowned villian by himself!

"Teleport him up here." Wade ordered and she opened her eyes, rather angered now.

"What? Why should I-"

"Do it." She let out a deep sigh, mocked him by repeating his order, and pushed up and out of her chair.

"I'd like to teleport you somewhere." She muttered under her breath. She then walked over to the left side of the jet, and two doors, that no one would know were even there, opened up. It contained one thing and one thing only. The Phonon Electro Tracking and Transportation Rescue Object, P.E.T.T.R.O for short, designed and created by Lucas, her other mentor who had a knack for science and inventing things, for only a hybrid to use. Since Kannani, a wolf mix-breed, had stayed in Flux city with Lucas, Alexa, and Miguel the other team members, Innocent was the only one who could use it at the moment.

When first examining the round object, it's intricate design and patterns would probably confuse most people. Blu still couldn't understand it, but he was an imbecile. It really wasn't as complex as it seemed though, at least not when you saw how it was activated. Innocent held her eye up to the scanner, and then took a deep breath. She’d done this about a hundred times, but it still gave her chills everytime she had to. She pressed her hand against the PETTRO and it lit up red, her eyes did the same. The way it worked was all she had to do was imagine a person and then imagine a place and they would be teleported there.

In a flash, Blu had been teleported onto the ship frozen in a battle stance, in which Wade had to duck when he aimed a kick in his direction. Innocent removed her hand slowly, the PETTRO returning to its dark grey colour, while her eyes went back to their natural light brown.

"Ugh, the fight was getting good too!" Blu complained.

"If you want, I could send you-" Innocent started but was interrupted.

"No, no! I'm sorry, thank you." He smiled and she scoffed.  She spun around in her chair and began typing in the coordinates for Flux City.

They'd get Sphinx another day, right now it was time to go home.
