A Happy Death

Kill me under the stars

I want my last sight to be beautiful

Take away my fears

I want to die brave

Sing to me a melody

I want to hum along

So I will feel at peace

When my soul flies away

Kill me after I'm loved

So I will be missed

So I am remembered

With a little dignity

Kiss me on the lips

While my mind bleeds

Thoughts of our love

Of only you and me

Kill me in silence

In complete serenity

Don't even sniffle

Don't shed a tear for me

After I've gone

And you've put me in the dirt

Lie down on the grass, look up at the sky

And know I died a happy death.
