Prologue

The Law of Conservation of Mass or Matter.
Discovered by Antoine Laurent Lavoisier.

The French chemist discovered the Law of Conservation of Mass. The law states that matter can never be created, nor destroyed. One would say that life is connected in ways we could never comprehend.

Telekinesis.

Supernatural power and supposed ability to move objects from a distance using mental power or any other non-physical means.

Could one learn to connect their bodies mass to other collections of energy and discover the ability of telekinesis? Was the idea ridiculous and completely and utterly stupid?

If one asked about the possibility of the power, he or she would be called a lunatic, or be humiliated by the monster we call society. The idea would be thrown out the window, hidden deep in one's mind, never to be found as reality. Society disapproves of the world finding of the unknown and impossible, which would be the only answer to giving up on the mysteries of life.

But there was one lonely, desperate and intelligent outcast pleaded to the silence to help save her sanity. Holding onto the last of her mind, she is taken in by a woman in her older 20's. Now, this woman wasn't a stranger. No, she was a good friend of the child's dead parents. After losing her parents in a life-scarring and agonizing incident, the older woman was the young girls only hope.

The woman, Leanne she called herself, took the child in, knowing her parents wanted her in good hands. She knew how important the girl was to them and the world. What she had the power to do, even at her young age, could be dangerous if it wasn't controlled and learned.

It killed her family, from her parents to her cousins and uncles. She lost her twin sister, her only best friend. She was left alone, and all she could do was isolate herself and keep herself out of attention. But, that would be hard, wouldn't it? People knew the family had a hidden secret that only they knew. With her family being in a skillful and one of the most threatening gangs, the girl's life was threatened by rising gangs and once they got the pride of killing her whole family tree, she was the hidden and dangerous target.

She would have to learn how to defend herself. She would be forced into practice and learn how to use situations to her advantage. She had to learn how to control and use her abilities. It would take hard training, pain, agony, and power to create the perfect, yet scarred, secret.

The only thing one would know about the secret would be her name and what she can do. Do you wonder what those are?

Oh, well. One would have to whisper...
