Finale

Eve had gathered the group of girls and a few others and they followed Chapin to the bridge where this game lost its popularity. Chapin stood at the edge, her curled hair whipping around in the breeze. Her skin was pailed do to the instense coolness of the outdoors and she her blue eyes were more prominent in the dark.

"Chapin! Step down from the edge!" Eve exclaimed taking a step closer. Chapin looked her in the eyes and you could see the fear in her face.

"I'm sorry." Chapin merely leaned and she went falling. Everyone dashed towards to the edge where the blonde girl had just jumped.

"Chapin!" Eve cried, falling into Whisper's arms.

"Oh my god." Cecily fists her hair. "I knew she was crazy...... I just didn't know she was completely psychotic!"

"You!" Eve screams turning to Mallory. Mallory backs up against the bridge railing. Eve stands close to her and pokes her finger in her collar bone. "What the hell is wrong with you!"

"I-" Mallory tries to choke out.

"Don't even give me an excuse!" Eve starts to cry. "Because of you someone's just died!"

"I didn't think she would actually do it!" Mallory says. Eve leans in more causing Mallory's back to lean over the edge and her feet to shift to tip toe position. She was close to falling off but that didn't cross Eve's mind as her head filled with anger and emotions she thought didn't exist.

"Right! And that's how all this started!" Eve screams as she breaks down piece by piece. "KNOW ONE KNEW THEY WOULD ACTUALLY GO TO THAT POINT!" Eve backs of and turns to the group, allowing Mallory to full be placed on the ground. "You know, it's my birthday." Everyone rubs their arms in awkwardness. "All I wanted was for people to get along! I mean, my birthdays are already crappy every year! I mean my dad forgets about me and doesn't even call. He forgets to pick up his daughter every weekend! Now this! This sucks! My best friend just jumped from a bridge and no one is doing anything! I don't even think some of you care!"

"We do care!" Liz speaks up. She steps closer to Eve and grabs her shoulder. "Lets go down there and find Chapin."

The group follows Eve and Liz down the trail to the water side and search the shore for a piece of Chapin. Eve gasps as a familiar black beanie floats by her sneakers. She begins to cry as she knows what has happened.

"Why are you crying?" Someone asks. Eve snaps her head behind her to see a familiar figure standing in soaked clothes and makeup cascaded down their face. She darts towards her and embraces her small figure. "What's going on?"

"Don't ever do that to me again!" Eve gasps into Chapin's soaked shoulder.

"It's okay." Chapin says wrapping her arms around her friend.

The two girls make their way to the rest of the group where everyone rejoices that Chapin is in fact alive.

They group of girls make their way through the abandoned park and to Eve's home to go to sleep after along night, when Eve sits down on a swing which forces the whole group to stop in their tracks.

"Chapin." Eve speaks softly. Chapin looks at her worriedly and responds.

"Yes?" She asks. Eve looks into her eyes and a tear trails down her face. "Eve?"

"Do it." She says. Chapin's eyes water in astonishment at the new words spoken from Eve's mouth. They ring in her head as realization hits the group as to what she is talking about.

"Eve," Sarah says. "It's okay you don't have to. I mean, that was a stupid Idea of me, you really-"

"Do it." She says. Everyone steps back. "A dare's a dare. I didn't get to third base with Whisper."

"It's okay." Chapin says.

"Do you still have it?" Eve asks. Chapin sighs, then nods as she pulls an electric razor from her small bag. Eve waves her over. Chapin cautiously walks towards her and flips on the razor. The group lets out wails as the razors comes in contact with Eve's scalp. They all cry, including Chapin, as Eve's auburn hair falls all around her feet. Eve smiles though at the new found confidence.

Once Chapin finishes, the group gasps.

"Well?" Eve asks. Eve touches her head and her fingers tremble and the touch of no hair. After a quick moment of fear, she smiles. "Maybe my dad will notice me now." The group sheds tears at her hair now gone and she just rolls her eyes. "Quit being baby's I'm okay, it's not even your hair."

"We know but-" Sarah's finger trembles as she raises her arm and points at the bald head.

"Really guys, I'm fine!" Eve speaks. Chapin wipes away a tear and throws her arm over Eve's shoulder.

"That's my girl." Chapin says. "Now, how's about we get home for that birthday cake?" The girls wipe away their tears and giggle at Chapin. They follow Eve and Chapin to the house and know that nothing between them is gonna be the same as it was yesterday.
