Bakugo's POV
I was still mad. Of course, I had made it to the final battle, and of course against (Y/N).
We still hadn't talked to each other yet. But something wasn't right. Normally she would have talked to me anyways...
I stepped on the battlefield and stood in front of (Y/N). We didn't look into each other's eyes, like we usually would.
The signal tone went off and I suddenly felt motivated. My typical me took over and I was filled with determination to win.
I knew she was strong, so I didn't hold back. I ran up at her on full speed, explosions in my hands.
She of course didn't risk being blown away easy by using her wings. Instead she just built a wall to protect herself, but it immediately broke because of the explosion. Though it was still enough for her to be unharmed.
Now it was her turn to attack. She knew attacking from a distance wouldn't work, because I could protect myself with only one explosion. She had a better plan...
She distracted me by throwing light knives at me and suddenly tackled me. We fell to the ground and I quickly got up on my knees to then pin her down. In that moment the anger rose up in me again.
"YOU REMEMBER THIS, DON'T YOU?! FROM THE BATTLE BEFORE?!"
(Y/N)'s expression darkened, and she quickly moved her face to mine. Our lips almost met, when she suddenly yelled at me.
"AND YOU REMEMBER THIS, DON'T YOU?!"
It really surprised me, because she hadn't yelled in a long time. She was definitely pissed!
We stood up to continue the fight. Furious (Y/N) activated her quirk. Seeing the light in her hands, my eyes widened.
She looked at me confused, but when she took a look at her light, her (E/C) eyes widened as well.
She looked up at me again in disbelief and her slightly open mouth turned into a smile.
"... Violet... " was all she said before happily jumping into my arms. I hugged her back, until we again fell to the ground.
We rolled around and totally forgot about the battle and all the people.
Then suddenly Present Mic's loud voice announced " OHH, BOTH (L/N) AND BAKUGO HAVE LEFT THE BATTLE FIELD!"
I looked up to see it was true. We rolled out of the field. (Y/N) and I started laughing. That meant we both were first place!
