Living under a rock | Chapter 1

Lunch time, everyone's favourite subject. As a typical student would do, I too pick Lunch time as my favourite subject. Well that's of course only when Dismissal isn't included, *wink wink*. But you know me, I'm not really that special. I feel like I'm the most regular person at school. Nothing special, whatsoever.

The typical student who goes to school, end up not understanding anything in class, then hang out with friends. See, not that special. But besides that, I do keep in touch with everything that goes on at school... right..? Or so I thought I did...

Lindsey's POV

Im Lindsey by the way, Vallery High's most un-special student :')
But that's okay, as long as I have my best friend with me, Erica, I'm all good. 1 person is enough for me to be happy. I guess that's one thing special about me *blush*.

Erica, who was starving to death, called me out to go get lunch with her. I followed her request and went with her to get food at the school cafeteria. I was kinda starving too.

"Hey Erica, do you think there's anything special about me?" I blurted out.

"Well that was out of nowhere, why'd you ask?"
She replied with another question.

"W-well.. I was just curious okeyy... jeez, why answer back with another question"
I pouted as I fold my arms childishly.

"Hahaha gosh, you're such a baby. Alright fine, you wanna know what's special about you?" She asked, and nodded in response.

"Well what is it??" I said, quite impatient to hear her answer.

"You" 1 word... just 1 word... left me speechless. I stood there with an 'are you serious' look with my mouth slightly parted.

"You yourself is special. You're unique by yourself and that's what's different about you." She said with a smile but I wasn't contented.

"Seriously!! Come on, there's gotta be more than that" I said as we continued walking, still pouting with my arms folded.

Erica just laughed at how child like I was acting.

Yes. I am who I am, so you gotta get used to more of these XD

Soon, we were finally at the cafeteria. There still was a lot of people but the line wasn't as long as it was when lunch just started. We went into the queue and waited for our turn. It took quite long and I felt the need to use the restroom, so I did.

"Erica I think I need to use the restroom. I'll be right back. Save me a seat if you finish before I get here, okay?" I excused myself as she gave me an 'ok' sign.

I then rushed to the toilet, when all of a sudden I bump into someone while on my way there. "Oh sorry.." I apologised and continued my way to the restroom. I had no time to pay attention to anyone, so I left the person on their own. I know I as rude but this is an important matter. A girl needs to do her business too you know.

End of chapter 1 yay!! I hope I don't get writers block after this🤧🤧 I always get it after finishing the first chapter😅 anyway I hope you enjoyed this and please support Collibrary.
