"Nice to meet you as well." I say back in a low whisper. She smiled and picked up her belongings and left out. I followed close behind, not missing a step.
"Was this a test?" I ask her. Stopping her by her forearm. She nodded. She didn't continue to walk, she just stood there waiting on my response.
"You want to, have dinner with me?" I ask. Smiling.
"I would love to, but I can't." Before I asked her why she started to walk once again but faster in pace, I couldn't catch up. I stopped as she kept going. I sighed and went back towards the library, even though I succeeded in chatting with her, I failed to win her over. I lay my hands on my head and take in another deep breath before I let it go.
