Chapter 12

Reiji's POV:
What is that half blooded creature doing with Tsurara? Why is she with him? What are his motives? Wait.

I paused for a moment where I face palm when I said that in my mind.

What am I saying? I'm sound like an idiot, so what's the point of thinking that stuff? Besides, that woman dislikes me and I don't really care.

I thought to myself as I saw them coming this way so I took a deep breath and remain stern where I calmly walked past them without saying a word. Unfortunately it got backfired when Ruki stops to greet me.

"Why hello Reiji." He greeted me with a polite tone where I sighed and turn my head to him with a strict look and uninterested look.

"Hello Ruki." I dismissively greeted as I can see the cold and stoic look on his face. He definitely smells unusual than before. Once we greeted, Tsurara turns to me with a cold expression.

Tsurara's POV:
As soon as Ruki mentioned his name, I turn my head to give Reiji an expressionless look.

"Good afternoon Reiji." I coldly greeted him.

"Same goes for you Tsurara." He sternly replied. Out of curiosity, Ruki shift his gaze at me.

"You two know each other?" He asked curiously.

"Unfortunately." I bluntly replied with a stoic look.

"She and the others are living with us." Reiji informed him where I can see his eyes are filled with pure envy despite remaining stern and calm.

"Oh? Is that so?" He said with an intriguing smirk which Reiji didn't like at all.

"Please don't tell me you're going to do something unusual to her." He directly told him which had me baffled by his statement.

Why is he assuming that?

"Oh don't be absurd, I have no intention of doing so. Besides, we just met in literature class." He told him.

"I see...thank you for telling me that." He politely thanked him, but I can tell that he's irritated with him just by his brow twitching in aggravation. He then adjust his glasses and sighed.

"Anyways, I'll be going to my class now." He told us as he walked away acting like nothing's wrong with him where I stood silently with a puzzled look.

Well that was odd...

I thought after he left. Soon I heard my phone vibrating from my pocket as I pull out my phone and press the green button and held it to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tsurara, it's Yui. Can you come to the food prep kitchen? Kurohime's having a breakdown." She informed me as I widen my eyes, but I remain calm and nod my head.

"Stay where you are please, I'll be there in a minute." I advised her.

"Okay." She replied as she hung up the phone, I put my phone back into my pocket.

"Going somewhere?" He asked as I nod at him.

"I'm going to the food prep class, I have to pick them up now." I informed him as he nod in response.

"Very well, I'll shall let you be then." He stated as I nod at his statement.

"Thank you Ruki." I thanked him as I left Ruki and ran through the hallway to get Yui and Kurohime.
