Chapter 6

It was already night. Kuroko and Akashi didn't make it to Kaijo Empire before night time. Akashi had started a fire to keep them warm. He has hidden the bags that have some money and foods in the bushes not too far from them. If bandits appear they don't have to worry about losing their stuff. While Kuroko is just sitting down near the fire staring at the fish that is burned.

"Uhm... I feel useless." Kuroko sigh and picks the two fish with a stick then put it on a large leaf.

Akashi turned to Kuroko. He walks beside him and sits down. "What are you talking about? Of course, you are not useless. You are cooking the fish." He said while adding some branch of a tree to the fire.

"Just cooking. Not like you. You won't even let me touch your sword to help chop the tree branch or letting me help you get the fish and now... you want me to just stay here while you guard me."

"you are helping... you are helping me guard the fish so it won't be eaten by other animals." He was now sharpening a small knife and peel some apples them.

"great, That would make me feel a lot BETTER." Kuroko pouts and gets some fish and eats it. "it's just... you doing all the stuff that I can do also. I don't want to be a burden to you- mmm.." he stops when Akashi puts a finger on his mouth. He blinks and looks at Akashi when he stood up and turns his head to each side.

"We are surrounded." He said with a serious expression on his face. Kuroko was surprised and get up also. He went to Akashi's back and looks around. "SHOW YOURSELF!!" Akashi yelled while drawing his sword. Then they heard footsteps getting closer to them. 8 men in black appear with swords and spear.

KUROKO'S POV.

"Well what do we have here?" we look at the man in front of us said with a small chuckle.

"they must be travelers from Seirin Empire." One of them said.

I turn to Seijuro-kun who is looking at something in the woods. " I-Is there something wrong? "

"Yeah. Don't worry. I will protect you. Just stay close to me. " he said assuring me that it was going to be alright.

"We hit a jackpot again boss! There is a woman with him." A man said not far away behind me. A chill ran over my spine. I can feel the man looking at my body. Why does everyone think I am a woman? "come here girly. If you come with us we won't hurt your boyfriend." He said. He sounded like he was drunk or something.

B-boyfriend??? I blushed hard.

Before he came even closer, Seijuro-kun pulled me to his side while throwing a small knife on the man's chest. The man fell to the ground. I cover my mouth. I remember Seijuro-kun village again. Those innocent people who died.

They were all shocked by what happened. One of them quickly charges on us. Seijuro-kun had to push me aside as he turns to cut the man's neck. I went behind the tree and watch as more men attracted Seijuro-kun. But they are no match for him. Seijuro-kun had techniques that they couldn't even do. Until 6 of them are lying on the ground lifeless. While the other two prepares.

"h-he is too strong for us. I guess... we have no choice but to call him boss."

His boss nod. Then blew a strong whistle. I look around as the whistle stops. Then I felt my necklace glow. I look down at it and saw the red dragon gem turned to bright yellow. It means we are getting closer to one of the generation of miracles.

"Seijuro-kun!! I think a generation of miracle warrior is close by."

Seijuro-kun looks at me and back to the two men.. "I know.. " he said. It made me confused about how he knew. Sometimes, for a normal warrior like him, he seemed so powerful than a regular human. Then someone jumped out of the tree. Our eyes widen as this person went out of the shadows.
