Chapter 10:

Everyone were settled in the ballroom when the CEO came and gave his speech and introduction and all and what all we were supposed to do.

"And at last I would like to introduce you all to my son," and then from behind the amphitheatre came this tall guy with mesmerising charms.

He stood beside his father straight.
Your eyes widened as you knew who was that person, you felt jihyun squeeze your arm in excitement and with the 'I told you he is hot' look plastered on her face.
You looked at your diagonal where jimin was and a frown was formed on his face
All his face muscles were tensed and worry on his features were clearly visible.
You looked back at the CEO and his son.

"Anneyohaseyo! I am mark, I hope I can do a great job" he said and smiled.

Y/n's p.o.v:

We were told what all we had to do and were dismissed to our respective leaders. Mark was assigned to our team and our leader nim was going to train us along with the heir of this company.
Jimin was with minha and jihyun was luckily in my team.
We had this field workshop and were allotted buses accordingly.
Jimin was sitting with minha, she was on the window seat and Jimin was on the one beside her I was sitting on the seat diagonal to him, jihyun was going to sit with me but our leader nam suk oppa called her to discuss some stuff related to the tour. She is the most responsible so kinda explains.
I was sitting alone and there was an empty seat beside me I looked out of the window and to the eye catching high buildings and how well maintained they were.
Someone came and sat beside me, I turned assume it to me jihyun but it was mark instead

"Hey! Sup" he said as he waved to me. My eyes widened and I turned to look at my best friend for help, jihyun looked back at me and smirked making a heart with her hands and then slided back in her seat.

"Umm...heyy" I said looking back at mark.

"So miss y/n how is life treating you, it's been so long and you look beautiful"

"Thank you" I said as I smiled.

"Oh y/n-shi remember our maths teacher with that foreign accent omgg, how much fun all students used to make" he said imitating our teacher, both of us burst in to laughter and turn by turn tried recreating our memories from high school

"Omg you remember this much" I said astonished at the fact how much mark noticed me and how much he remembered

"Well we could have been more if you would have given me a chance" he said smoothly in our talks

"Huh what do you mean?" I said as my laugh fainted.

"Ohh look at that woahhhh~~~ is soo beautiful" mark pointed out of the window to a beautiful garden and there was this statue in between. He was successful in distracting me and changing the topic.

"Woahhh~~~~ so much of hard work, it must be so difficult to build it...

"Hey listen up we will free during the weekend and will be given some lone time wanna visit this place?" He asked

"Omgg yesss!!! It will be so fun"

"I've heard there will be fireworks as well, they set up like a whole show and stuff for tourists we can watch that as well"he added

"Omg hell yess I am attending this, we all deserve a nice break for our hard work" I say as smile getting all hyped up for the weekend.

I looked back towards where Jimin was and we made eye contact. I smiled and then looked away...but why in the world was he looking towards me? Or maybe I am just overthinking I have to move on after all he is taken and it's not changing anything, I've always been in an one sided love and it's time to come out of my shell I cannot be like this forever.
I sighed deeply looking out of the window, I saw mark was busy doing something on his phone so I opened my phone inserted my earphones and played goblin ost I had them on shuffle.
It was a nice and smooth ride we were almost there as I looked out of the window the buildings were huge and fancy. The bus stopped and nam suk oppa asked us to take our belongings and be out so that we can proceed with the day. Mark got up and to the seat behind so that the crowd could move, his bag was on top of my seat. He patiently waited as most of our coworkers emptied the bus. Jimin was three seats ahead of mine when I stepped out my seat but experienced a hard push by minha which cause me falling back into my seat but mark got me, his arms were wrapped around me and he was leaning literally over me so that I don't fall, his lavender cologne was so dominant making the whole situation very very awkward. I could feel Jimin's voice with a "yahh....." but it was very faint and disappeared quickly. Like the compact bus absorbed his voice in it.
Mark pulled me straight, I wasn't ready cause my brain could not analyse so much so I landed onto marks chest, one of my hand was on his muscular chest just where the heart is and the other one was on his arm, his arms were still around me but one of his hands went to my head and creased it, making sure I wasn't hurt anywhere. I looked at Jimin's face it resembled just like someone stole a baby's favourite toy, his face was all pouty, his lips were sealed but it seemed he had many words stored which he was unable to speak.

"Careful...someone could've got hurt" he said to minha in a blank tone.
Minha just rolled her eyes and went to Jimin

"Babe can you hold my luggage?" She said handing him her purse and all her stuff as she walked down.

I pulled away from mark and lowered my head thanking him.
He smiled taking a step back he ruffled his hair and looked at me still smiling.

"Yah! Y/n, are you coming or not? No one is going to wait for you for the whole day?" He said as Jimin pulled me towards him with his free hand.

"Yah" I groaned as it hurt

"See you around" mark said as he winked at me before getting down.

"What the hell? Why did you pulled me so harshly?" I turned to Jimin

"What the hell was that? Why are you being so close to that guy? Like that's so unlike the y/n I know..." he said crossing his arms

"What? What are you even talking about Jimin...I have no idea let's just get down first" I said as I went down the bus followed by Jimin.

As I went down jihyun caught me and pulled me in the corner away from everyone else.
"Y/n....you've gotta listen to this, AUHHHH IMSOEXCITEDNAMSUKASKEDMEOUTAHHHHHHHH" she said in a single breath

"Slow down woman!!!! And whatttttt"

"Yesss nam suk, the person we all thought is so cold with everyone" she said jumping up and down

"Awww omgggg that's s exciting I want more details!! You have to tell me everything in detail, I'm so happy for you"

"I know right!!! We are going on a date tomorrow as we have the whole day to ourselves, omg what should I wear~~~" she panicked

" calm down! You'll be fine I'll be there for you" I said winking

"Oh Mark told me on the way here that there are fireworks arranged for tourists every now and then you guys can totally watch them during you date eeeeee so romantic" I said as i made a fist and waved them in the air showing the amount of excitement I was feeling.

Jihyun smiled and then looked behind me, I turned and found mark coming towards our direction.
He stood beside me. "So miss jihyun I'll be your guide for your date with nam suk hyung tomorrow" he said as he put his arm around me, my eyes widened and my heart almost skipped a beat. I've never been so close to a guy except Jimin. The feeling felt so different yet warm.

"I'll need some help to entertain myself so umm...y/n you're coming with me, what do you think jihyun?"

" yyeeeeessss!!!!!! That would be great" she replied smiling even more widely at me.

I was unable to answer anything as mark's hand was still around me. My silence was taken as a yes and I could not deny cause of my disability at that moment so well I was stuck as a forth wheel with mark... "nice planning for a holiday" I muttered to myself.
