"Another day,"  a cold, naked Brian sighs, as he wakes up to the sound of his alarm.
Brian smashed his alarm angrily to the point that it almost broke. He got up, didn't wore any flip-flops because his parents never bought him some.
He goes to the bathroom, brushed his teeth with his old toothbrush. He takes a shower, and puts on a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and black socks.
He keeps a cereal box inside his room so every time he will eat breakfast, that's what he's gonna eat; cereal without milk. He doesn't want to go out of his room because his stepfather might see him.
He then goes to the bathroom to put on some make-up because he believes that he's very ugly.
"You're so ugly." He talks to himself, just like everyday, while applying eyeliner and foundation.
He then puts on his jacket to hide the cuts and bruises and so he won't show some skin because he hates his body.
He then puts on some shoes, and got ready to go out of his room.
"Here I go, wish me luck." Brian mumbles.
He takes a very deep breath, and opened the door a little so he can take a peek outside.
"All clear, now go make a run for it!"
He runs down the stairs. Just at he thought he was gonna make it outside safe, he see his stepfather on the couch.
"Hey! Why are you running?" said Tom, his stepdad.
"Uhh, I'm gonna be late for school." Brian makes up an excuse.
"But it's still early!"
"Sorry dad, but I have to go."
"You're not leaving until you're 'gonna be late for school'!"
Tom walks closer to Brian and hold him on the collar of his t-shirt
"Dad, please! Let me go!"
Tom throws Brian to the ground. Brian tries to stand up, but his stepfather punched him in the face.
Brian begged Tom to let him go, but he wouldn't listen. He continued to beat up Brian, until it was quarter to 8.
"Get up you slut! You're 'gonna be late for school'!"
Brian grunts in pain and agony.
He gets up, wore his hoodie, and immediately got out of the house with a broken leg. He waits for a bus, but no bus came. He ask a stranger "What's the time?"
"It's 8:24."The stranger tells him.
He thanks the stranger, as he realizes he is very late.
"I'm just gonna walk to school even if my leg is broken. No choice. It's just a 20 minute walk."
