Scene # 1

3rd person POV

Namjoon and Eunkyung arrived from Switzerland, late night and booked a cab home. They both didn't tell anyone about their sudden arrival, it was discovered next morning as Namjoon's wife was preparing breakfast for him

Hyun Soo: Darling, when did you both come back? wasn't it a 2 weeks vacation?

Eunkyung: Mother, actually, we had just completed our adventurous honeymoon, when Namjoon got a call from his office saying that he has an important meeting, so, we just agreed on coming back a little early, that's it

Hyun Soo: Really?

Eunkyung: Yes mother, don't worry

Eunkyung POV

I lied, not actually but I lied. It felt like deceiving someone, for a moment I just wanted cut and throw away my tongue. Soon after came Namjoon all ready for work. Then we all sat for breakfast

Namjoon: What's for breakfast, mother?

Namjoon asked his mother, not even sparing a glance for me

Hyun Soo: Eunkyung made bacon and eggs

Hoping he'd eat it, he said something from which I was taken aback

Namjoon: I'm actually not in the mood for a heavy breakfast, so, I'll just have jam sandwich

Eunkyung's mind: Says the one who emphasizes the importance of breakfast in life

Hyun Soo: Namjoon, are you sick?

Namjoon: No, why do you ask?

Hyun Soo: You never step out the house without a proper breakfast

Namjoon: Well, I'm actually in a hurry today as I have an important meeting and I have to go on a business trip. Sadly, I'll have to leave tonight for the business trip

Eunkyung: What?! I mean, we just came back you must be ti-

I said a bit shocked when Namjoon interrupted

Namjoon: Work's important. None of your business if I'm tired or something, I'll head out tonight, end of discussion

With that Namjoon got up and left the dining room, without even looking at me

3rd person POV

As Namjoon coldly said and left the room, a keen Hyun Soo sensed that something was wrong and planned that she'll attack tonight

Namjoon POV

As I was heading for the car, I felt guilty about lying to Eunkyung and mother about the business trip. I got in the car and started driving as I thought about how easily I lied to their faces

Eunkyung POV

Night had already fallen by the time Namjoon arrived home. Namjoon texted me to pack his stuff for a 3 days and 2 nights trip. I simply did what he said. By the time he had arrived home, I had already prepared the dinner and asked him to join to eat with us
