You're standing on the concrete stadium floor, practically knocking over your whole chair, while screaming the best words your ears have ever heard, the words that changed your life, the words that helped you through your darkest times:
"Kim Namjoon! Kim Seokjin! Min Yoongi! Jung Hoseok! Park Jimin! Kim Taehyung! Jeon Jungkook! BTS!!!"
Your best friend, also a loyal army, screams with you and smiles the brightest smile she's ever had. You smile back, jumping at the sound of the booming speakers ushering out the only band that was there for you when no one else was. Tears threaten to come out of your eyes, but you hold them in. You couldn't tell if they didn't come out from shock, excitement, or self control.
"Hello Army," you hear a steady voice, even over thousands of Army, "are you ready to party?!"
The crowd screamed and yelled for the leader, jumped and pumped their fists in the air, even kept yelling the fan chant over and over.
"Kim Namjoon! Kim Seokjin! Min Yoongi! Jung Hoseok! Park Jimin! Kim Taehyung! Jeon Jungkook! BTS!!!"
When the first song, Idol, started, you let your head fall back onto the glimmering lights to soak up all of the energy from them. You looked at the stage, trying your best to dance like BTS, and allowed yourself to let go. Even with everything that has happened to you, everything you've had to go to through, it didn't matter now.
One of the main things you loved from the concert was the connection between each Army. Everyone helped each other up in your darkest times. You looked back to your first time seeing a BTS movie, Burn The Stage, and remember the armies there. You remembered how there was a girl behind you crying, and someone in the movie theater yelled to her,
"Don't cry! BTS and Army have your back! Fighting!". That was also the day you first felt truly supported and loved. You couldn't (and still can't) imagine that seven men had the power to bring so many people together in unison.
As the concert ended, the last song was 2!3!. This was your favorite song. An older one, but also one of your favorites because BTS and Army became one in that song. It was a connecting song.
When the song was coming to its last verse, you heard the music turn off and the audience still singing. BTS held their microphones out to the crowd, listening with teary eyes at their own Army. The Army that raised awareness for mental health, the Army that beat all odds against American award shows and haters. This was true connection.
The song came to an end after seemed like a whole eternity in heaven. The whole stadium fell silent at the ending of the concert. Armys were watching all over the world for this moment.
Jungkook tapped at the microphone.
"It was nice being with you army. We will always love you."
He handed the microphone to Taehyung(V).
"I purple you army! Stay beautiful, especially in your heart."
Taehyung swiftly gave the microphone to Jimin.
"Army. You have made me smile so much. Please take care of yourselves."
He handed it to Jin.
"The times with you have been le-jin-dary army! Haha!"
Jin laughed and gave it to Hoseok(J-HOPE).
"I love you army! I am sorry if I have not said it enough, I hope you know that you're my hope."
Hoseok smiled his largest, and gave the microphone to Yoongi(SUGA).
"Thank you for all the good times Army. I will miss you. Come visit me sometime. Haha."
Finally, the microphone was handed to Namjoon(RM). The leader had a sad but proud look on his face. He just stood on the bare stage for a moment, smiling. He looked around the crowd. He gave a small sign with his fingers, and Yoongi left the stage, sitting on a chair with a piano. He started to sing/rap First Love(please shift the song to First Love for best reading affects).
With Yoongi in the backround, the other members walked back, into the dark. The whole stage had only two spotlights, on Namjoon and Yoongi.
For a second, Namjoon just held his arms out, bathing in the comforting silence. Not one Army made a sound, not even the toddlers. Even outside concert sounds seemed to stop. The whole world seemed to stop time for these few minutes, not letting anything ruin this moment.
"I guess it is time for my speech, right army?"
No Army made a sound.
"Well, it's not. It's time for your speech. You need to speak up. Tell people how you feel. So many armys have warmed not only my heart but the rest of BTS with their stories. You all are so strong. I love you. Now..."
The music stopped. The piano came to a quick mute, and there was no spotlight. Only the darkness.
Suddenly, 7 spotlights came on to the stage, no props. Just 7 men. BTS.
"Army," Namjoon said, stopping and smiling, grabbed onto his members hands. They created a link together, a force stronger than the Sun. They went in fan chant order, except Namjoon was in the middle, between Yoongi and Jimin. The 7 boys all smiled, crying. The tears did not stop the whole time they stood.
Finally, they all said at the same time, "Thank you Army, we love you. Last but not least, this was BTS."
Then, gathering themselves, they left the stage.
Not to set foot on the stage again.THE END
