Harry found an empty compartment and settled in. After a few minutes a boy with fiery red hair entered the compartment "Can I sit here please? Everywhere else is full" he said. "Yes of course" Harry said, "I am Ron, Ron Weasley" he said and Harry answered : "It is a pleasure. My name is Harry Potter" "WOW ARE YOU HARRY FREAKIN POTTER? I am so delighted to meet you! Do you really have that lightning-shaped scar? Do you remember You-Know-Who killing your parents? It must be pretty bad if you remember it at all..."
At that very moment a bushy-haired girl entered the compartment. she looked both of them and asked : "Have you seen a toad? Neville lost his and we are searching for it...", "Not really we will have you know if we see it!" Harry said, "Oh thank you very much for it. My name is Hermione Granger." she answered, "Oh it's Harry, Harry Potter", "Oh I am delighted to meet you. I have read all about you and you are in Modern Magical History, The Rise and the Fall of the Dark Arts and Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century. With that being said she left the compartment.
FAST FORWARD TO THE SORTING PROCEDURE (Harry knows nothing about differences between the Houses)
Harry was fretting about what house he belonged to. He didn't know where he would be sorted
"HERMIONE GRANGER"
"SLYTHERIN"
After a few other names were called
"DRACO MALFOY"
"SLYTHERIN"
"RONALD WEASLEY"
"SLYTHERIN"
When there were only a few names to be called Professor McGonnagall shouted:
"HARRY POTTER"
"SLYTHERIN"
And there was when the gossip started. Everyone discussing the events and going on with the assumptions about why did the Sorting Hat placed Harry Potter along with a muggleborn and a blood-traitor. Among the gossip were some Slytherins, the ones that learned to hate Harry Potter and believe in "blood supermacy".
The next morning a howler came in and landed in front of one Ronald Bilius Weasley and it opened ...
"RONALD BILIUS WEASLEY ! HOW COULD YOU BE SORTED INTO SLYTHERIN ! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOUR FAMILY NAME ! I AM ABSOLUTELY ASHAMED TO YOU ! I CAN'T STAND THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE BECOME A SLIMY SNAKE" and then the howler tore itself to pieces...
Ron just looked on the now tore up parchment and showed that he couldn't care less. He didn't believe in "blood supermacy" shit as he named it but evaluated everyone for their power. So when Draco Malfoy neared them he made friends with him alongside with Hermione and Harry.
They became what one could say the most close friends...
3rd year
Hermione and Harry received a letter each from Gringotts and there our journey begins...
