The night of the party...
Grayson's POV

Today was the day I was going to ruin the poor girls life. I didn't help that I have never talked to her either. We are complete strangers. She doesn't know... the real me. The happy one before all this shit just piled on top of me.

Sometimes I just think about how things in my life could have gone different.

"What could I have done different?"

1 year earlier

"Mom, Dad please don't leave me here!" I screamed

"Sorry honey. Your father and I will be back as soon as we can."my mother said

That day I will never forget. I got separated from my family and my friends. The day where I cried my eyes out at an orphanage about 3 hours away from my home in New Jersey. The day my happiness went away...

Catherine's POV

It was a normal day in high school... people making out in the hallways, pushing innocent boys with glasses into corners, and the basic bitches.

In high school everything is different. We all keep to our groups until the silence is broken, and hell lets out. Today was the first day where he'll let out, towards me.

Lizzie, the basic blonde bitch of the school came waling toward me, with her minions behind her.

I really never had anything against her but for some reason she absolutely hated my guts, but was too much of a pussy to do anything to me.

As she walked past me I could feel this sticky substance on my hair and back. At first I was in shock. But then I realized what that son of a bitch did.

SHE FUCKING SPILT HER STARBUCKS ON ME!

I fucking lost my cool within .02 seconds...

I pulled her by her, long, blonde, straightened hair.

"What the fuck was that for you BITCH!" She screamed at me

"YOU FUCKING SPILT YOUR DRINK ON ME!"

I did the unimaginable. I fucking went all out on this bitch. I grabbed her waist and threw the bitch on the floor.. I don't know if I have ever been so mad before. It was almost as if I was unconscious while I was beating the shit out of her. I couldn't control my actions. It was all a blur. When I got out of my head I saw a girl on the floor with blood all around her face.

I then realized that I had been pulled off by my best friend, Clair. When I saw her face all I could do was go limb and fall, crying, into her arms.

"It's ok, Catherine. It's ok." She whispered into my ear repeatedly.

And with that I fell asleep right there, right then....

2 hours later

I wake up in an uncomfortable office chair. I realized that I was in the principles office. I started to have a panic attack, until I saw my snobby mothers face.

I had grown up in a wealthy house. I always had the best cloths, phone, anything that you could think of. Trust me, I was grateful for all that my parents have given to me. But sometimes I wish that I didn't have all this meaningless stuff, I would rather have my parents love.

My parents work together and run a cell phone business called "Phono" (idk if that is a real thing or not, I just made it up😂) They were always too busy, to spend time with me. It always seemed that their business as more important than me. But I get it, they need to support our family.

Once I get out of my head, I realized that my mother had just been staring at me with confusion.

"What happened sweetie?" She asked

I sat there stunned for a second because she hasn't called me by that since I hade been young. It took me back to the times where we actually acted like a "family."

"I so sorry mom. She spilt her drink on me, and I couldn't control myself. She started it mom. She really did. I'm so sorry" I whispered to her, crying

All she did was she came up to me, and hugged me.

I have been apart of a motherly comforting since I was young. I was stunned at first, but then just eased into the idea.

"I'm so sorry mother..."

"It's ok sweetie." She said calmly

We just sat there in each others arms taking in the moment... until the door opened and showed the most handsome boy I have ever seen... little did I know how much time we would be spending together in the future....
