We walk into their apartment and it's very clean and tidy, not what I was expecting for a guy's apartment. Then a girl walks into the living room towards Liam and they peck each other on the lips.
"This is my girlfriend, Maya. This is Bea and Ava, we met them at the bar, they just moved here."
"It's so nice to meet you guys," she says as Liam takes her hand.
"We better head to bed, I'm sure we'll see you around," he winks at Niall before they head back to their room.
The state of their apartment makes sense to me now knowing Liam's girlfriend probably keeps these boys in line.
"Beer?" Harry asks me as he walks to the kitchen.
"I'm going to need it if I'm around these two," I playfully reply as I look at Ava and Niall all over each other on one of the couches.
I sit down on the couch across from them and Harry comes over holding two beers and hands one to me. He sits next to me close enough that our legs touch and I don't risk moving an inch because even the small touch makes me feel warm inside.
"Where are ours?" Niall asks.
"I think you both have had enough for tonight," Harry laughs as they both pout which makes me laugh with him.
"Fine, what are your guys' first plans in Freeport?" Niall asks me and Ava.
"Well, actually tomorrow we're going shopping to get furniture for our place," I chime in.
"We're both currently limited to air mattresses," Ava adds and I laugh because it's comical but slightly embarrassing.
"We know a few good thrift shops that have really nice furniture at discounted prices," Harry says, "if you guys want company."
"That would actually be really fun you guys should totally come," I answer before Ava can say anything. I'm sure she would want them to come anyways, but I'm definitely not giving up a chance to spend more time with Harry.
"Awesome, a lot of rich people stay here for a couple months at a time and can afford to leave a lot of things, which works to the advantage of the less rich people around here." Every time he talks I get captivated even if it's just about thrift shops.
"Perfect, less rich is just in my price range," he laughs at my joke and I can't help but take it as a mini success. By the time we turn back around Niall and Ava are basically on top of each other making out and me and Harry both laugh awkwardly.
"Any chance you want to go for a walk? There's a beach right around the corner, it's really peaceful at night, aside from the occasional loud drunks."
I can't help but feel like I'm in a Nicholas Sparks' book and just the thought of going on a night beach walk with this amazingly beautiful man next to me gives me instant butterflies.
"I'd love that, is it alright if I stop by my place to change into something so I don't freeze?"
"Of course," such a simple answer, but the way he says it so soft and sweet attracts me even more.
Niall and Ava don't even notice us leaving, but in all honesty I'm happy for her, and if they weren't all over each other I may not even have this time to get to know Harry on our own, so I owe that to her.
He follows me to my apartment and we're in silence for most of the walk. It only takes us five minutes and I find my key and lead the way in.
"I'll be right back," I smile at him and he smiles back.
I walk into my room and start tearing through boxes trying to find something comfortable but cute to wear. I find leggings and a baggy sweatshirt and I slip on some Vans. I try to be as quick as possible so Harry isn't left waiting in our unfurnished living room. I look into my mirror and run my fingers through my hair and I apply some powder on my face. When I walk out he's leaning on the counter and he looks to me and smiles.
