The Arrival.

*Snapchat notification*
- Text from Sam 💜 -
"Why is she texting me again, her plane is about to take off. Oh my gosh this girl."
You open the message, it reading - "(y/n) are you sure you have everything packed? You didn't leave anything?"
You smile at your phone and let out a little laugh before responding - " lmao yes Sam! Your plane is about to take off! You need to get ready!"
The screen lights up again as Sam begins to type another message; "i just want to make sure. I'm so excited. I can't belive were actually going to Korea!"

Your heart begans to beat so fast at the thought of finally getting to visit the country you've been in love with for so long and with someone you've become so close to.

You respond to Sam - "I know I know it's so crazy! I'm ready. Im about to go through security though. We arrive in Icheon at the same time so don't forget to wait for me before going to the hotel!"
Your phone screen lights up again but you throw your phone into the bin before waking through security. With so many thoughts racing through your mind you sit down outside your terminal analyzing your boarding pass and passport.

Is this really happening? You're finally going to meet Sam, you're finally going to Korea. Are you even ready?

Suddenly over the intercom you hear -

*The Flight from Seattle WA to Icheon will begin boarding in 5 mins.*

Quickly you pull out your phone, forgetting that Sam had messaged you - "Yes yes the big brown bear I remember! I'll see you soon (y/n) 💜💜"
You quickly let her know that you're about to board even though she's already well into her flight. Your heart begins to best faster and faster as the line to board the plane gets shorter and shorter.

Finally after 20 minutes you settle in your seat and prepare yourself for the long 18 hour flight. With snacks in your backpack, all your favorite Kdramas downloaded and the reality of the trip setting in you allow yourself to relax and enjoy the flight.

-18 hours later-

"SAM! SAM!! Oh my god she left me.." you whisper to yourself as you walk back and fourth in front of the agreed upon meeting spot. You pull out your phone to try and call her but she doesn't answer. "I swear I'm going to lose my mind if she really left me ."
"(Y/n)!! I'm right here! Sorry I was in the restroom."
She flashes you a smile. You both stand there in awe that you have actually met. A friendship that started all because of a group chat on Twitter. Someone who lived on the other side of the world but is your closest friend. Finally you embrace Sam with a huge hug! You two begin giggling. "(Y/n) can you belive this? We are actually here!" You grab her by the arm and laugh "Are you ready Sam? We have a whole two months to enjoy this beautiful country! Where should we start?!"
Sam laughs,"let's head to the hotel first, I think we could both use a shower." You laugh, but agree. It was a long flight and all you could think of was how wonderful the hot shower was going to be.
