Abby's POV
I woke up to my annoying alarm clock. "Why do we have to wake up at 6:00." I got out of bed and went to look in the mirror, "Ew" I said as I saw dried drool on my cheek. It's my first day of senior year, so I went into my closet to pick out a pair of light wash jean shorts and a white crop top. I put my jeans on over my sun kissed legs. "Why can't we have one more week of summer" I say to myself. I decide before I straighten my hair I'm going to text my best friend Hannah because I have to pick her up on the way to school.
"Hey bitch, I'm coming to pick you up at 6:45" I hit send as I slid down into my vanity chair. I decided to go with a simple makeup look and just put on some foundation and mascara on. I open my light brown eyes and put the mascara on my long eyelashes. I finished my makeup and moved onto my hair.
I looked at the time and saw it was 6:30 and it was too late to straighten my hair so I just brushed my hair and left my natural loose brown beach waves. I decided to wear my white vans with my outfit choice. I grabbed an apple, my keys, and my backpack and walked out the door as I yelled to my mom that was in the shower getting ready for work, "I'm leaving to pick up Hannah, see you when I get home love you bye." "Bye Abby, love you too." she yelled out the bathroom door.
I walked into the garage and got into my white jeep and pressed the black button next to the steering wheel to start it. It usually takes 10 minutes to get to Hannah's house, so I decided to play Only by Nicki Minaj as I made my way to Hannah's.
I pulled into Hannah's driveway and beeped the horn. I saw her run out of her house as she flipped me off and I started to laugh. As Hannah got in the car she hit my arm and said "My parents are still sleeping asshole." I winced at the sting she left on my arm and said "Oh your parents love me just connect your music to the aux." Before she played her music she turned to me and asked "Did you hear about the new twins at school, they just moved here and I heard there really hot."
As I kept my eyes on the road I shook my head no. "Do you know their names yet." I asked as Hannah was scrolling for a song on her phone. "I think their names are Ethan and Grayson, but I'm not sure. I was looking for pictures of them on Instagram but I couldn't find their profiles." I looked at her out of the corner of my eye and started to laugh at her "Why are you laughing at me?" she said. "Because you were stalking them and there not even here yet, I also find it funny because you're now getting aggravated that you didn't find them anywhere on social media."
She once again hits my arm, but lightly this time because she used her right hand and not her left. "Oh shut up, what if their really hot, one for me and one for you." This time I'm the one to hit her arm. "Ow, what the hell was that for." she asks me. "Just shut up and put on the music please."
