I saw her there, an idiotic smile crept onto my face. Her waist length hair which was the colour of a ravens wing, swayed lightly in the cold, early morning air of January. She was wearing her bright blue school uniform. She laughed loudly, and it sounded like a symphony to me. Our eyes locked and she stared me down with her piercing blue eyes. She waved at me, flashing a smile that could light up New York City after dark. She motioned for me to come over. She greeted me with the sweetest "Hello". My heart started beating faster than a humming birds wings. I'm smiling so much that my dimples begin to hurt.
We talked about everything and anything. In my mind I'm thinking about how thankful I am to have her in my life. We have been through so much and she's still by my side. She used to be just a friend, now she is so much more.
