Sea's P.O.V

It was a cold, winter day in the city of St.Louis. The wind was chilly and the streets were covered in a thin layer of snow. I jolted into the warm school building from outside. As soon as I was inside she heard the bell ring. "Crap! I'm late!"

I slowly walked to the front desk to get a tarty slip. "Name?" A harsh voice of a women sounded behind the glass. "Sea," I said smoothly. The lady scribbled something down of a piece of paper then handed it to me.  I looked down at the ugly, yellow piece of paper. I'm gonna be in trouble when I get home!

I sprinted to the sixth grade hallway to find it already crowed with kids hustling to get to their classes. I furiously forced my locker opened and stuffed her backpack and coat inside and grabbed my binder and set off to my first class.

First class was English Language Arts. As everyone else got out their books to read, I reached into my binder to find that I had forgotten my Harry Potter book. "CHEEZITS!" I shouted. I stood up and walked to Ms. Twig's desk.

"Um, I kinda forgot my book this morning, I was in a rush." Ms. Twig looked up from her paper. "Well Sea," She stood up and walked around the desk, "I think I have the perfect book for you!" I followed her over to a small shelf of books. She squatted down and rubbed her finger over the spines of the books. "Ah ha!" She said with a smile and pulled out a book. On the front of the cover read in bold letters, "Narnia". "Have you ever read this book, Sea?" She asked me. I stammered, "Uh, no. But I saw the movie." She smiled at me again. "Well then this is the right book for you!"  I took the book.

I was really hoping to get to reading Harry Potter. I was about to read the part were Harry and Cho Chang pencil kiss! ((Go and read my other story, Cho Chang Pencil Kiss!))

First class ended and I walked over to the social studies classroom. Outside the door was Abbo and Cho. They were in mid conversation, laughing about something. "Hey Sea!" Called Abbo. I walked over to them with a smile on my face. "This morning my cat jumped off the table!" Said Abbo almost dying of laughter. We all laughed until the bell rang and we hurried inside.

In social studies I sat next to Cho but Abbo was on the other side of the room. We took our seats and Mrs. Lecture started her boring lecture about being quiet when someone else is talking. "Do you still have our child?" I whispered to Cho. She dug into her pocket and pulled out a key that you would find on a computer. It was the letter j, a great and majestic letter! "Of course!" She said. And the very boring class went on.

Social studies was so boring (Like it always is) so during class when Mrs. Lecture was giving up another lecture about headphone, I pulled out the Narnia book.

As I started reading, I felt like I was in another world! There were two kids who's names I don't remember. They were just running around and then they met this sort of horse taxi thing called the Cabby. Then, out of no where, the Cabby turned into a man! Named Cabby. The book was filled with mystery and fun. ((I actually not very sure about what the book is about but you know, I'm winging it!))

Soon I realized that social studies was over so I packed up my things and started to head out the door when someone called my name, "SEA!" I looked over my shoulder. It was Mrs. Lecture. She did not look very pleased. "Um... Yes?" I asked, holding my book tight. "Why do you keep reading while I'm giving my useless lecture? DETENTION!" I sighed. "But why?" I asked trying to use puppy eyes. "JUST BECAUSE!" She screamed and some of her spit flew into my face. "She me after school." She stood up straight with a smirk on her face and walked off.

Cho's P.O.V

"WHAT?" I screamed. "SHE CAN"T DO THAT!" Abbo nodded in agreement as she stuffed her face with a ppj sandwich. Sea had just told us that Mrs. Lecture had given her a detention for READING. Like, WHAT? Sea's face was red with anger. "What a freaking mean teacher!" She said pouring more Cheerios into her hummus. ((That's actually Sea's favorite food lmao))

Lunch was like the only time we could talk to each other (Besides the two minutes between classes) So we all just talked as much as we could.

Sea told me and Abbo about the book that Ms. Twig told her to read. It seemed pretty interesting. Then she read us a sentence out from the book. It was the most majestic thing my ears have ever heard! Like music but without music, so wonderful! I pulled out the computer key out of my pocket. (So I'm calling it The Key from now on so don't be confused when you see that!) I think The Key likes the book too! We all laughed.

At the end of the day Sea told us that she had to go see Mrs. Lecture in her class room. So like the good (great) friends we are, we went with Sea to support her on this tragic occasion.

Sea's P.O.V

We all three walked into the dark classroom to see Mrs. Lecture sitting at her desk with an devilish kind of smile (weird am I right?) Mrs. Lecture stood up, "Sea, why have you brought you stupid friends?" She spat. "Um... cuz I want to!" I told her. She rolled her eyes. "WHATEVER!" She strutted over to me with a yellow form clenched in her hands. She stuck her arm out and handed the form to me. "You will be serving your detention next Wednesday! Your only choices are to show up or get suspended!" I gulped. "Yes, Ma'm." I said and walked out.

Abbo's P.O.V

We walked out of the classroom. "OOF!" Said Cho. (She says oof a lot) "It could be worse!" I said to Sea, giving her a hug. "I guess," She sighed. "At least it's Friday and so we can all go home!" Cho assured her. "Hey guys!" I had an idea that would make everyone feel better! "You guys should come over to my house next weekend! I busy this weekend but next weekend would be good!" I saw their faces lighten up a bit. "Good idea!" Said Sea. "AWESOME PEOPLE SLEEPOVER!" Cho shouted.

HEY GUYS! I hoped you liked the first chapter of this story! So um, yeah! This story is based on true events (not everything is true like Sea never got a detention from Mrs. Lecture. Heck, Mrs. Lecture isn't even a real person!) But anyways it is a story that we kind of made up last year so yeah, It's great!
