Chapter 3

There was a long awkward pause and he just looked at me, but i knew what his answer would be, so i turned around and headed to my bedroom.

When i got there i took something out of my pillow case and showed it to Jack. By the look on his face hed seen the photo before.

"So this is your dad, right?" He asked already knowing the answer.

"Yes, hes my dad." I replied.

"You mean im your dad."

"Yes, i suppose you are." But i knew i didnt have to answer that because we both know its true.

We were stand there in silence both of us not knowing what to say, then finally he spoke, but sadly it wasn't what i wanted to hear.

"Well i better be going now, i really must talk to Sam, goodbye."

"Wait please, i think we need to talk to." But before i could get the words out my mouth he was already running out the door.

I cant believe this i actually met my dad and he couldn't wait to get away from me. Hopefully Jack and my mam will talk more about me, i really want to know more about him. Maybe now that he knows i exist he will let me stay at his ranch, thats where he and my mam met, she told me all about it.

My mam was on her way back to college after being at home for a month, but her car broke down ten minutes away from a ranch, my dads ranch. Anyway my mam went to the ranch to use their phone (hers died) but when she rang for tow truck, but the company said they couldn't get there till tuesday (it was friday). So she had to stay at the ranch till then, one thing led to another and here i am 14 years later.

Ive been going horse riding once a week for 6 years now, but my mam doesnt think i could handle owning one, ive already done part loaning for a while but then the owner sold the horse. So maybe i can go to Jacks horse ranch and help out there and ride some horses.

I really hope mam will let me, i just know Jack will let me hell have know choice if my mam agrees i am his daughter after all.
