"Hannah get up! You're going to be late for school!" I sit up and groan. "Great. First day of school." I mutter to myself as I lazily sit up from my bed. I find my phone on my wooden bedside table to see if I have any missed calls or messages.
To Hannah From Chase: "Good Morning! Wanna walk to school with me?"
Chase is my next door neighbor. Him and I have been best friends since I moved to Cali a couple months ago. My mom got a new job and had to transfer to California. My dad forgot about me when i was little and I never really had a good connection with him considering my parents were divorced.
To Chase From Hannah: "Yeah, of course :)" To Hannah From Chase: "See you in 10?" To Chase From Hannah: "Sounds great!"
I pick out my outfit:

and head downstairs. I see my mom sat at our marble island in the kitchen with some bacon, eggs, and toast. I hurry up and eat before heading outside to meet Chase. "Hannah!!" I hear Chase call as soon as I walk out the door. "Chasie!!" I giggle at the nickname I gave him when I first met him. "I thought I told you not to call me that anymore." He laughs has I walk up to him seeing him in his white hat and sweatshirt with a black pair of shorts.

"And I don't care. It's a nickname that I gave you when I first met you so suck it up Chasie" He laughs with that beautiful smile of his and we start walking to school. ~ skip to school ~ We walk into the school and head to the office to get our schedules. "Good morning! I'm assuming you want your schedules?" Miss. Smith, the principal of Edison High asked. "Yea, this is Hannah Miller. She just moved here a couple months ago." Chase tell her. "Well hello and welcome to Edison High School." Miss. Smith happily says. "Here is your schedule Chase and I will be right back with yours Ms. Miller" I think a new start will be a good way to get my mind off of what happened back in Ohio.
