It was spring 2017 and I didn't have a sport to play! I didn't know what to do or play and thought this was hopeless. Until my mom brought up the ideas of playing field hockey. I didn't know any one who played field hockey and never had heard anyone talk about it. I thought I was going to be playing with complete strangers. I didn't own a hockey stick and didn't even know what it looked like. All Knew was that I needed one. So, I went down to my neighbors house and used hers for my first practice.her stick soon became my "lucky" field hockey stick. Next I needed shin guards so I used my old soccer ones. I Already owned a pair of googles and mouth guard. I was set!
