CHAPTER 20: Marked At Last

EVERETT

It has been a week now since we found out Ofelia was pregnant and though she knows she's supposed to be taking it easy, I had to call in the doctor yesterday to finally convince her to ACTUALLY take it easy cause she wouldn't listen. She did get her cravings though.

Then on top of that, Wes has been helping teach her control her ability and is now trying to figure out in how whoever has been able to get to her in her dreams to have manipulated her if it wasn't my brother.

Today, I was busy meeting up with a few of our alliances and going over some business with them until it was getting close to dinner time and I was hoping to take Ofelia out tonight.

When I got home however, I saw the doctor's car outside and right away began to panic.

So I immediately parked and ran inside the house to find Wes, the doctor and Ofelia sitting at the table and it looks like Ofelia was crying.

"What happened?" I asked.

It looked like Ofelia was about to tell me but she just covered her mouth and started crying more as she ran upstairs.

"I'm sorry, I can't." She cries.

I look over at Wes and the doctor who both have a look on their faces that I can't really read.

"What's going on?!" I ask them.

"Now Everett, you need to keep in mind that this was not her fault and that Ofelia had no idea until just a couple of hours ago." Wes begins to say.

"What?" I asked confused and a little more worried now.

"Everett, Ofelia was marked. Not by your brother but by someone else. He's part of your brother's pack and happens to have the same ability as she does. She said she didn't remember how it happened but then after asking her a few more questions, she remembered eventually." The doctor stops.

"She was forced. The guy who did it was in the pack but she said that he's not in the pack anymore. And when I asked about the guy that told her in her dreams to kill herself, she said it was him." He finishes.

I'm shocked. I'm speechless. I'm not sure there's anything to say really. I'm feeling so many different emotions right now.

I'm upset and furious, enraged even. Not to mention hurt and confused.

"Wait, I have never seen the mark. Where is it?" I asked.

"It's behind her left ear." He says.

"How could I have not seen it? I mean, I noticed something that looked like it could have been a birthmark but.... "

"Because he didn't fully mark her. That's why it doesn't have the obvious teeth marks. Which is actually good for you because now would be the best time to mark her completely and finish the mating process." He tells me.

"Will he still be able to manipulate her and enter her dreams?" I ask him.

"Not if you mark her tonight." He tells me.

"Well, so if there's a way to fix this, why is she so upset?" I asked curiously.

"Well for starters, her hormones. But mostly, she was afraid you would be upset with her." He explains.

"Really?" I say while suddenly feeling like shit.

I then make my way up the stairs and take in a deep breath and let it out before entering the bedroom.

I see her laying on her side on the bed with her bad towards me, sniffling.

"Baby?" I ask as I quietly close the door behind me and start to walk over towards her.

"Please don't be mad at me." She says.

"I'm not mad at you. I mean, I was upset when I heard that you were, well, somewhat marked. But it wasn't at you as much as I was at the asshole who did it against your will." I say with pain and anger in my voice as I clench my fists.

I see her begin to roll over on her back and I sit down beside her on my side while propping my head on my hand.

"Listen, I want you to understand something. I love you. I've loved you since the first moment I met you and I want you to know that I will do whatever it takes to prove to you that no matter what happened in the past. Whoever did you wrong, I will make it right for you." I tell her while fighting back some tears and he the side of her face.

"You love me?" She asks.

"Yes. I know it's probably too soon for you and aren't there yet but...." She stops me by leaning over and kissing me and I begin kissing her back and then roll on top of her and look into her eyes for a moment.

"I love you too." She smiles at me.

We start kissing each other and the kiss deepens before we begin to removing each other's clothes and she rolls on top of me.

She starts to straddle my waist and lowers herself down onto my hard shaft and starts move back and forth then up and down taking every inch of me inside of her as I begin to grab her breasts and grope them as she continues riding me.

As we both get close to our climax, I wrap my arm around her waist as I sit up and have her legs wrap around me as she continues moving up and down then when we both are about to climax, that's when I ask her if I can mark her. She nods as we both pant then I show my canines and graze her neck at first before marking her.

She yelped a little from the pain but it quickly was replaced with pure ecstasy before she then marks me as we both come at the same time, moaning loudly.

Now that we've marked each other, it's time to see what our strength together can do. And god help my brother and his pack, ESPECIALLY the fucker that marked her. I will find him and when I do, he will beg for mercy.
