Sophia : Oh.
Ball bounces
Hadley : Nice.
Music plays
Sophia : Oh! I'm so sorry! ( helps Isla )
Hadley : Are you kidding? Isla's been Miss Mum's-The-Word about the tunes and I've been dying to hear them!
Dance music stops
Isla : ( closes her laptop ) I'm still working on them. They're not ready for anyone to here.
Sophia : Really? What I heard was outstanding.
Hadley : Yeah! See? Play one of your tunes for us!
Isla : ( blushes in embarrassment )
Sophia : It's fine. You don't have to if you don't want to.
Hadley : I'm Hadley.
Sophia : Sophia.
Isla : Sophia? The lottery winner?
Sophia : ( smiles ) Yes. I lived with my Aunt Dana and my Cousin, Delancey ever since a car accident happened years ago. My Aunt found me in the cradle after she found out that I was still alive. Luckily. She thought that she lost all of us. And if she had then my cousin Delancey would've had the throne instead of me. I never imagined I would end up here.
Hadley : So how does it feel to be here ?
Sophia : A little overwhelming.
Hadley : ( smiles )
PA : ( rings )
Headmistress Privet : All princesses and lady-royals in-training are due at the Starlight Welcome in one minute.
Girls : (gasps)
Isla : One minute.
Princess Assistants : ( fixes them up and leads them out )
Girls : ( walks out ) Whoa!
Princess Assistants : ( sighs )
At the Starlight Welcome
Students : ( chattering )
Teachers : ( walks )
Girls : ( sits )
Everyone : ( applauding )
Headmistress Privet : Welcome students.
Prince : ( barks heading to Sophia )
Sophia : ( smiles )
Headmistress Privet : And dogs. Tonight you begin the greatest challenge of your life, training to be a Princess or Lady Royal, the most important jobs of the realm. Your classmates, Lorraine and Josette, are bringing around your training tiaras.
Princess Assistants : ( gives the girls tiaras )
Dame Devin : ( smiles and waits patiently )
Miranda : Thank you.
Headmistress Privet : Don't get too used them. Only those who succeed this semester will earn the real versions. Fail as a princess-in-training and you will not be crowned. We have very high expectations here. Each of you must attend every class on time and in uniform, and your grades must be exceptional. That said, I believe every one of you has princess potential. Work hard and stay dedicated, and you will achieve it.
Everyone : ( applauding )
Dame Devin : ( smiles ) Excuse me Headmistress Privet. If I may, I'd like a proper introduction so I give an announcement to the students.
Headmistress Privet : ( chuckles ) Certainly. Students. Dame Devin.
Everyone : ( applauding )
Dame Devin : I have an earth-shattering announcement. This is my last semester of teaching before I...Um, before my niece takes over Gardania.
Sophia : ( smiles ) Hello everyone. ( waves )
Students : ( smiles )
Dame Devin : ( smiles ) No, no, hold back your tears. Ms. Privet will take over my classes next year.
Headmistress Privet : ( smiles )
Dame Devin : Of course, no one knows the royal life as I do. I lived at the Palace ever since my dear sister-in-law Queen Isabella and her family died, except for my Niece Princess Sophia. I went to investigate the incident when I heard her crying. I took her back with me. Luckily if it weren't for me none of you would have a worthy Princess such as my Niece looking after our country. And it has been my greatest honor to save her. And so I welcome you all to Princess Charm School. May your time here be magical.
Students : ( applauding )
Headmistress Privet : Two lines, everyone! Curtesy's to all and then everyone's excused for bed.
Students : ( curtsying )
Hadley : Favorite legend about the Gardania Royal Family, go.
Sophia : Gardania's Magical Crown.
Isla : (gasps) That's my favorite legend too.
Sophia : (smiles)
Delancey : ( curtsies )
Bell chiming
Girls : ( walks away to their rooms )
Sophia : I wonder what we'll be doing for class tomorrow. I kinda know almost everything.
Hadley : Oh really. Like what ?
Sophia : I know how to eat properly at the table and how to properly drink my tea.
Dame Devin : Sophia. Come now dear it's time for bed. You don't want to be late for your class tomorrow now do you ?
Sophia : Coming Aunt Dana.
Girls : ( walks to There rooms )
