Chapter one:

Hiya... I'm Caro Winterson but most people call me Winnie. I'm not the sort of girl who like feels safe when someone says hi to me or hugs me. It all started when my dad left my mom. So I started to carry around a notebook with me. I use this notebook to talk to people till I feel one hundred percent safe with you; sometimes I use it for writing my own songs. Ever since I was little girl. I had my dream to attend Julliard college of music which is basically ever musician's dream. Okay let's start my story.

"I don't wanna change school Mom. I just settled down in Atlanta, You can't force me to change school!" Caro screamed to her mother. Her mom (Bella) just looked at her and sighed, she was used to dealing with this ever since her father left. Caro adored her father. He was the one who taught her that she could be anything she wanted if she put her mind to it. "My company moved me sweetie. I can't change what my company decided. Look on the bright side you will make more friends" Her mom said calmly. Caro looked at her mom as if she was mad and rolled her eyes. She just wished she could just go up stairs and just lose herself in the world of music with her guitar. Instead she just walked outside into the front garden slamming the front door on the way. She was suppose to be leaving tomorrow but she hadn't got round to packing. She liked where she lived ever since she knew that Christan Beadles lived just down the road with his sister Caitlin. She decided to pay him visited.

Carefully she slipped back in her house and walked upstairs. Everybody who lived on the street knew Caro had a big crush on Christan. She walked to room which was at the top of the house. Caro rested her hand softly on the door handle and sighed lightly she pushed the door handle down and stepped into her room. On the walls of her bedroom there were posters of Devon Bostick. Ever since she seen him in land of the dead. She had been completely obsessed with him, propped up against her bed was her guitar that she had since she was 5. Caro bent down to pick up and sat on her bed thinking of the bad stuff in her life and good the stuff. She strummed a few chords of 'Everything I own' "you should consider writing a song for me one day" Christan told her suddenly appearing in her doorway wearing his hoodie and trousers and converse.

Caro just laughed and threw her sponge bob pillow, "maybe one day. Christian rolled his eyes playfully me at me and came to join me in my room. "Well since your here... I need to tell you something" Caro told him. "its okay... I know your moving. Bella told me, she also said to go easy on you" Christan told her. Caro sighed and rested her head on his shoulder and sang ' when there was me and you softly' Christan joined after a few verses. For a moment Caro forget about everything. She even forgot that she was moving to Arizona tomorrow. Suddenly she came crashing back down to reality. "Since your here. You can help me pack" she commanded Christan. "okay" he agreed it was the least he could do. Caro thought to herself I could keep in touch with Chirstain. I mean I do have his e-mail.

After packing her stuff. Caro left her photo album to last so she could look at the meriomes she had whilst she attend Waterbury high. She picked up her photo album with strands of hair falling in her face. Caro sat on her bed flicking though her photo album most of the pictures were of her and her boyfriend Josh. There was a few more in the photos in the album. Her favourite one has of her and Caitlin. They were both were matching tops that said " free hugs not drugs" Caro was wearing knee high converse and purple sunglasses. She was also wearing shorts shorts. She remembered when the picture was took it was a couple of weeks after she began to date Josh. Suddenly without warning her tears began to fall sliently on to the pictures that was in her lap. She didn't want to give it all up, her friends, her life , Christain and Josh.
