Paul and john were walking down the street together thinking of ideas for the next song.
"oh I'll tell you something i think you'll understand" Paul said
"i wanna hold your hand?" john replied. Paul agreed. they got to the recording studio and wrote it down, bouncing ideas off each other.
"this seems too fast, let's add a line in between so it goes something like, oh yeah I'll tell you something, i think you'll understand, when i say that something, i wanna hold your hand? how's that?" Paul asked.
"i like it. it's a good chorus, now we just need to add the music and the other verses and we'll be done!" john smiled. the two boys worked on the song the rest of the night.
