Stupid child

Some time ago
You were flooded with innocence
Running around, chasing butterflies
You were happy.

What a stupid child

Later you found out why your father had to leave
Once or twice a week, and you understood
Why your mother was sleeping with you instead of him

What a stupid child

You grew up as a beautiful person with a dark soul
Living with the fear of becoming your father
As your relatives say you're his embodiment

What a stupid child

You  developed anxiety and depression
You were spinning in thoughts, crying all night
No one really understood what you're going through

What a stupid child

So what you do
Is embracing the darkness
In darkness finding peace.
