not worth your time

You trudged your way up to the school building, grumbling to yourself. You hadn't slept well the previous night. You looked up to see Susie walking into the building. You felt your face flush a little and your mood improved slightly. You picked up speed and hurried towards her.

"Heya, Susie. How's it going?" you asked, placing your hand on her shoulder to get her attention. She whipped her head around and growled. Her face softened when she realized that it was you.

"Jeez, (Y/N)! Don't do that, I almost bit your face off!" she huffed. You giggled.

"Aw, come on, Susie, you wouldn't actually bite someone's face off!"

"Yes she would," someone said from behind you. You jumped and turned to see Kris standing before you. "She just about did it to me."

"Yeah, but we're cool now, right Krissy?" Susie smiled.

"Yep, we're cool," she smirked. They exchanged some weird, unnecessarily complex handshake thing and laughed. I felt a twang of jealousy, but I couldn't figure out for the life of me why that was.

"Oh my god, I love you so much, please let me be your friend!"

"Gurl you look snatched!"

"LOVE ME"

You looked behind you to see Charlotte strutting down the hall, surrounded by a crowd of people. They were practically screaming her name.

"People, people, calm yourselves! For I have enough love and support for all of you!" Charlotte cooed. You felt a sour taste in the back of your throat.

"Don't even worry about her, (Y/N)," Susie said. She grabbed your arm and started pulling you away, Kris following behind you. "She isn't worth your time." You smiled.

"Yeah, you're right."
